Had the rudest CUSTOMER in NBS last week. I was sitting at a jewelry table with my SA, drinking water, looking at some jewelry, and chatting, in a little nook near the back room. CLEARLY busy. A woman who was waiting by the back room door for something to be brought out kept leaning in and collaring my SA. "Excuse me...?" and my SA would look over, smile and say hello, and turn back to me. This woman must have tried to "snag" my SA three or four times...while waiting for another SA who was already serving her and while my SA and I were in deep conversation. It was truly unbelievable.

Very rude!
Happened to me in the past, and I snapped at the customer yelling "do you mind?" Both the SA and the customer were in complete shock, but it did the trick and silenced the nagging customer , the SA said that he didn't think I had it in me [emoji23].

I recently bought a bolide 31 in clemence from New Bond Street Hermes. But searching for kelly, birkin and constance bags for sure. Can u recommend which store in London is the best one to have a try? I will buy other stuffs like CDC bracelet in Diamond, Farandole Bracelet, Shoes, Cashmere Scarfs, Gloves......

I'd recommend splitting your shopping list between NBS and harrods, as they are probably the only two places in London that offer to non regular customers, definitely get the diamond CDC from NBS, they might not offer you a bag straight away but will probably ask you to come another day,

Since you are already on your way to building a relationship at the NBS store, I would continue working on that relationship and continue to purchase other items you like. NBS typically has more inventory than Sloane Street, but I find Sloane to be a bit more relaxing and personal.

You are already at the right store for those. NBS IS the shop to go for the bag you want, unless you have a wonderful relationship with all the SA at Sloane St...otherwise best bet is NBS.

Does any one know the actual date of the opening of the new Sloane St store? Hopefully they'll get friendlier SA in as I was so disappointed by the current ones that I only ever shop at NBS even if it's further away from my home.
Awww? Really? SA(s) in Sloane Street are so sweet to me. Actually all the SA(s) in both stores are nice and friendly to me, and they all offer me coffee.... I just don't really know the ones at Harrods, otherwise all of them are nice. I don't know why a lot of people has unfriendly experiences at these two stores. I'd like to investigate, I will go observe on my next visit.

Would the fact that I am a man make a difference? I don't think so. NBS SAs are extremely nice and helpful (even suggesting a "trick" that saved me nearly 200£ on my latest purchase) as are the ones in Harrods & Selfridges. Sloane St? My experience until I decided to avoid the place, is that unless you display ostentatious signs of extreme wealth, they will ignore you totally. Many moons ago, I worked at Dior's design studio on Avenue Montaigne and I remember being told their SAs were trained never to judge a book by its cover.

Umm ... I feel very sorry, that you have to avoid that shop. I don't think I give the aura of extreme wealth, and I never just buy anything that the SA show me. My tactic is: Just stroll in carefreely into ANY hermes store in any country and have always been treated nicely and all the SAs been friendly to me. I am almost always never neatly dressed. I have been in the shop in Cannes in flipflops and shorts and been offered to buy a pale blue Birkin 35 without any previous purchase history in that shop, I just walked in and said I wanted to buy something that will make me remember this particular shop forever. All I know is that the SAs likes me, even on first glance, I have been told by all of them that I am friendly and funny. They feel very relax showing me items and knows that I will always be delighted. So, perhaps being less tense or serious helps.

I have a not so good experience with Sloane street, they seemed very indifferent , and I never went in there asking for either KB,

NBS are all very nice and helpful, but I was only offered a Kelly once, and I declined as it was the wrong Colour, but I was never offered again,

Harrods are very nice too,but it's always too busy and I'm not a fan of shopping at harrods, so I ignore going there, but many friends swear it's the only place they get to buy Birkins Ofcourse they buy lots of Jewellery from hermes so maybe that's why,

Selfridges are probably the best in terms of service IMHO, had a great experience a couple of months ago with them, and recently they called to offer me a kelly, but it was the wrong colour and size for me, nonetheless the SA was so sweet and promised to call again if anything in my wish list come up,

A very important matter is that stocks are generally very very low for a big city like London, I've mentioned this before I think, but I know some people who started shopping in places they frequent like Zurich and Frankfurt, and they find it much easer to get bags there than in London,
