Hello! Wondering if anyone has had recent experience with customising a bastia on the website and collecting in store? The website states it takes 8 weeks, I'm travelling to London in about 6 weeks and wondering if it's possible that it'd be ready earlier. Thank you 
Mine took 4 weeks but I imagine there would be no guarantees if it says up to 8 weeks.Hello! Unless there is some reason why you cannot have it sent to your address, why complicate matters. What alternative arrangements are there that you can make?
I live in Australia and customisation is not available here. I don't think I can order from UK or EU website and get it sent to Australia (happy to be corrected). So just wanted to see what experiences people have had, thinking perhaps 8 weeks is a conservative estimate.
I have a friend travelling to London a few weeks after me so potentially she can pick up if it does take that long.

There might be time-limit on how long items can be held for collection in Hermes stores.
Do you have friends in UK who could order and collect it for you, then you collect it from them?

H.com T&Cs state that “Please kindly note that your order will remain in store for only 21 days." So your 6-week timeframe would likely work, but of course no guarantee.
I'm sure you can contact H.com to ask them to keep the order in store for collection for a bit longer in case the item arrived too early.
I keep asking this and it goes unanswered so if it is in the wrong forum kindly feel free to move or redirect me. But is this the best time to ask a London SA about a la carte bags? Would be grateful for any feedback
My sincere advice is that I would wait to be invited. From what I have read, it seems to have a much better outcome but this is of course based only on my personal experience.

Oh but why? The stores in a particular market would only start inviting clients to made an appointment when everything is ready for the next round. The Colourama lists, the bag styles available and the latest details for placing orders. In the past we waited for the colour leather swatches to arrive as well.
