Hermes boutiques in London

Hello everyone, just wanted to give an update on my NBS experience last Saturday. I was in the area for a different errand and didn't think I would have time to go to the boutique so I did not make a prior appointment. My errand ended early though, and when I passed by NBS, there were only 2 people in the queue. When I was at the front of the queue, the SA at the door asked me if I had an SA, and I said no, and that it was my first time. She asked what I was after, and when I said an Evelyne bag, she immediately asked what size. I said 29 and she let me in, explained that they had a few in the store but that I had to wait for the next SA to become available. I could sit by the men's shoes area or stand by the scarves section on the first floor. She offered the hand sani too.

So my total wait time from the time I queued to the time an SA was available for me was about 30-35 minutes. I didn't mind because I was both excited and I had my mobile to entertain me, but I guess this is where the advantage of having an appointment comes in :smile:My SA was Satar, and he was very polite. He confirmed that I wanted the 29 and not the popular 16, and asked what colour and hardware. He brought out the Etoupe and Gold, both in palladium. I was initially after the Gold, because it also matches my belt - I think we're all familiar with the Alessandra Ambrosio photo that may have started the Hermes journey of some :amuse: But when I held the Etoupe, I think I fell in love  Satar's vote also went with the Etoupe, and he warmed up a bit here, probably thinking I'm silly cause I was so giddy hahaha. I had such a huge smile behind my face mask. After I made my decision, he took out the phone where I guess the database app of clients and their purchases are, to look up my record (my only prior purchase has been tableware at Harrod's because NBS did not have it in stock when I bought). He chatted me up a bit while he was putting in the information and during payment, and he asked if I wanted the white bag over the normal paper bag. He walked me to the door and we exchanged thank you's and I walked out a happy lady!

I can now replace the huge 33 that was a hand-me-down with this 29, which is the right size for me. So overall, a positive first time experience for me. Perhaps I will visit again before Christmas - but I will make an appointment this time
Hello! I hope you don't mind me asking: did your tableware purchase at Harrods get registered to your Hermes account? If so, how did you do it? I'm also looking to buy some tableware at Harrods but my Hermes SA (on the ground floor) said a different team on the 3rd floor handles the homeware section so just looking to make sure that the purchase is credited to my H profile :) Thanks! :flowers:

I once purchased my Pop H necklace from Harrods Hermes. For my recent visit to place a WISH at NBS last week, SA let me to see my purchase history (Up to 3 years dated back to 2017) and I saw that purchase from Harrods which was under my account. You just make sure that when you pay for the item, they do ask your email or registration information and make sure it have your information on the receipt. I guess Harrods won't give you receipt like other boutiques but a long thin receipt just like a normal purchase. I would suggest they do ask your email when you pay for it.

I just received notification that Selfridges is temporarily closed from this evening following the latest government guidelines.
I cannot believe this TIER4 comes in so quickly and I was glad that I made my trip last week rather than next week. It seems that all non-essential shops will close again... I feel it is ridiculous but to be honest when I walked on the street in London, it was packed and still some people did not wear masks with this new viration of the virus propogation so quickly, I think it is no question that London will be put on a most restriceted level of the control. I guess Hermes will continue doing remote selling.

Yes my tableware purchase was registered in my account history. Same experience with @Marylu1991 - my SA showed me my account on their phone app and the tableware was there. Even my SO Calvi purchase from H.com France was in my history.

That is cool!!! I am thinking to purchase a SO Calvi from the website and was worried that it was not under the same account. I guess as long as you registered with the same email address, it will be fine?

I was planning to visit the store in Selfridges this week to try a few things but I guess I have to contact my SA and order online from now on. I don’t believe this lockdown will end anytime soon.

YAH, I think there is no way to visit the store now as London is literally in lockdown situation. I think it is better to contact your SA if you wanna purchase it before the new year (I believe there will be another price increase on Jan. 1st as Hermes did it regularly).

Heads up to fellow Londoners, as we are now stuck in Tier 4 (almost lockdown, but not quite ) its still possible to order goodies via the boutique. some excellent news on the Brexit front as there is now a 'deal', so hopefully no huge price increases on the Hermes front. otherwise I may have to move closer to the mothership...
Even through Selfridges or Harrods? Or is it just CP and NBS?
