I will visit france next week and I want to know if there is any chance to get k or b in store outside paris like strasburg and lille or deauvilla or lyon or even Bruxelles ? And how about Paris appointments system? Is there is any tips about how to get one ?
all I need to know where is my highest chance
In my experience, with the hassle and rarity of leather appointments in Paris, it is easier to get a BKC in those cities. BUT that is only the case if you are a long standing customer in one of those stores. Even for Parisians, the large influx of tourists again has left it harder than before. I have been offered BKCs in a couple of those locations recently, but have shopped with them for decades with a healthy spend history. These stores are aware of how hard it has become to buy BKCs in Paris and have adapted to tourists testing their luck in provincial stores. If you are willing to buy harder to sell rtw or fine jewelry pieces, you may have a chance. Though, the fine jewelry selection in those stores are vastly different than the Paris stores with very little gold jewelry in comparison. During my visits, I did not see any tourist being offered bags except them being told that the stock is very low at the moment.

I do think about buying gold jewellery and ostrich oran and lizards as well
But I don’t know is it better to buy this things in FSH store so they maybe have control over the appointment system as I seen some youtubers said that they got an appointment after they spent some on FSH store before it

We just returned from a quick Côte d'Azur trip. I visited all the H stores along the way.

Marseille - nothing much to say, very low stock. My least favorite.

Aix-en-Provence - a very beautiful store, my favorite of them all. I saw a Sellier Black Kelly and Retourne Gold Kelly being offered (I think both were 25), but the customer did not take either. We had been talking quite a bit with an SA and when we inquired about the 2 Kelly bags, the SA said he was too junior and could not offer them. But he offered to get someone to help us, knowing we were interested in the Kelly. After 40 minutes, an SA came over to us. But as soon as we mentioned the Kelly, he was very rude and talked in circles about "the process being very difficult." This rude SA also showed me a 25 Craie Birkin, though I am not sure why as it was clear he would not sell it to me. They had several more Birkins and Kellys in the cabinet where he went. It left a bad taste in my mouth for sure, which is a shame as this was my favorite store. Someone was also being offered a mini Evelyne after purchasing some jewelry.

Saint-Tropez - another lovely store, but I saw nothing being offered and we did not ask for anything.

Cannes - a very busy store with a super long wait to get inside. I saw one VIP client skip the line, but nothing was being offered. Very low stock.

Nice - my second favorite store in the area. We purchased a lovely china tray. The SAs were very kind and made my daughter a ribbon bracelet scented with her favorite perfume. After our purchase, we asked about any Kellys, but they said no stock. I didn't see anyone getting offers while we were there and the back rooms were all open/vacant.

Monaco - a lovely store and the SAs were very nice here as well. We asked for a Rodeo charm, as we went at the opening, but they said no stock.

Lyon - this store was packed with people and felt a bit crazed. It was small and did not have much out. We didn't ask for anything and I did not see anyone getting any offers.

I would recommend going to FSH store at around 11am and check for cancellation specially that you have been trying for appointment, sometimes they have open slots.

We recently bought a belt at the Saint Tropez store for my husband. The sales associate was lovely, also American, so we chatted in a friendly way for a while. He tried on 3 different belts and ultimately decided on the brown/black combo. So there were three belt boxes on the counter. When we returned home and unpacked everything, we realized she had put the wrong one (belt #1) inside the wrong box (belt #2). The receipt listed the correct one (brown/black--belt #3).

I emailed her immediately with photos showing everything and asked if she could help facilitate an exchange at our home store. After 3 says, she replied back saying that she would talk to her manager. That was July 20th and still haven't heard anything from her. I emailed again to no avail.

I realize it's a small potatoes transaction for her but she made a mistake and has made no effort to fix. I'm frustrated! I have tried to get an appointment at our local store but it's near impossible. There are none available in the next 2 weeks.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing? Any advice how to proceed?

Would like to chime in my experience at Cannes during mid July:

The store was packed to the brim and this isn't a very big store BUT every single employee I encountered were so NICE- even amidst the chaos.

When you are let in from the queue you aren't served immediately but rather just a retreat from the heat and time to browse. They don't ask your name at all to be put on a waitlist for service but they know who is next to be served from when you entered the store. My party and I just sat in the shoe department after perusing the displays. Someone quickly came to ask us if we wanted any beverages and swiftly she came out with a tray full of artisanal drinks in individual bottles and glasses filled with ice. We just asked for Coca Cola and orange juice and we were surprised to see such beautiful bottles for each of us.

After about 30 minutes a salesman introduced himself to us and asked us what we were looking for- the whole wish list at once. This was very efficient! He brought everything out he could find and some alternatives but unfortunately nothing suit our liking. I felt so bad for not buying anything after we consumed all those drinks! We did ask about special bags and were not rejected right away but was told to come back and see him. Unfortunately we were on a cruise stop and just had a few hours to spare.

I did shop at the Cannes location several years ago when there was a separate men's and women's store and the experience wasn't bad at all but I never went out of my way to come shop there again. I would definitely return after this recent experience if my party wanted to shop- but during low season!

Hi! We recently returned from a trip that included A few days in Cannes. The store was lovely and many of the employees were charming and lovely to chat with. My particular SA made some nice alternative suggestions for shoes when they did not have the ones I was looking for. There were some beautiful Fall RTW pieces, but Summer pieces were largely sold out. Stock was low in all departments, but we were able to find our favorite pattern in china to add to our breakfast service. The pattern has been hard to find since the pandemic began. I was offered a couple of lovely non quota bags, but they were too similar to what I already own. They do need to check your profile to see if you "qualify" even for a non quota bag. My particular SA assigned leaned more to the perfunctory type of service versus more conversational or charming. This is not my preferred style of interaction, nor typical of my past experiences throughout France. Still, I would say it is worth a visit if you are in the area; just be sure to manage your expectations as stock is low throughout various departments. Good luck and Happy shopping to all! :)

Wanted to share my experience today at the Lyon store. I would say overall it’s positive (though slightly disappointing for myself). I was looking for the santorini sandals but surprised to find that the Lyon store shoe selection was very small (the SA helping me says it’s because of the season, all santorinis/other sandals are gone). I decided to get an Oran, picked up one large and one small scarf, and a cute necklace that my home store doesn’t carry (fashion jewelry, not expensive!) she then asked if I was looking for anything else - I politely said that I know it’s very difficult but any mini bolide or mini Lindy would be great, and she acted very optimistic about them and asked me about colours. Afterwards, I also casually mentioned a herbag would be good too - so off she went, and she came back with a big box! As it turns out it was a herbag, and she said she couldn’t find any bolide, lindy (I also asked if there were picotin and she said no).

Having said that, the herbag she brought out was in the colour combination I asked for so I did get it in the end, but couldn’t help but feel like maybe if I didn’t mention herbag, she would have magically found me a mini bolide or lindy. Oh well! Even a nice herbag is hard to get at my home store so I guess it’s still a good experience overall (I went at 10:15am, so I didn’t have to wait for a SA at all)
