I highly doubt it unless it's at some egregious level.Do they blacklist people who order online and send part of the stuff back?

I have coincidentally just been told by my ex-SA who is now in the back office and no longer on the sales floor that they watch closely if someone buys eg Kelly wallets in different colours. Even if it is relationship buys over time, there is a chance Hermes will decide to blacklist a customer if they feel there is an issue. I am quite shocked but there it is.
Exactly. I myself thought it was ok. I buy things in multiples. Obviously! But I guess RTW and shoes it’s def easy to tell from sizes. Maybe not immediate blacklist, they may just flag it and watch the account.I am shocked re the wallet purchases being monitored like that. As H addicts, many of us have multiple wallets in different colors, accumulated over time (some have astonishing collections). That seems extreme.
sorry to disagree but they do not care--its money
I don't understand it. How do you think Hermes will be going through hundreds of thousands of ebay listings and know it was you who listed the herbag? Did you advertise your name and address in the listing or any other specific details that can identify you? And you think Hermes has the energy or man power to troll ebay sites? Or they even care?Hi! So, I'm a first-time buyer of Hermes products. I've admired them for a while and on my quest to buy a Birkin I bought a handful of items within a week during my trip to France. These were all items that I loved and plan on keeping forever (bracelet, perfume, 2 cardholders). At one point, I realized I may not ever get a Birkin in France, so I bought an Herbag. THEN, the next day (last day of my trip) I got my dream bag - the Birkin! I asked the SA if I could return the Herbag because I bought it thinking I would never get the Birkin. I'm guessing this was a rookie move to ask? Anyway, she said I could have store credit but that returns were not allowed since some people overbuy just to get the B/K/C. This was never my intent as I bought the bag honestly thinking I wouldn't get the B on the last day. Anyway, I decided to keep the bag and think about it some more. Four days later, I am back in the U.S. and was just not excited about the Herbag. My husband suggested that I list it on ebay and FB marketplace just to breakeven. I did this and then 3 hours later, a friend of mine told me that this could result in me getting banned from the store! I immediately removed my 2 listings, but now I'm fearful of getting banned. In the end, I should just have taken the store credit or sucked it up and kept the bag given I did love it before getting the Birkin. Anyway, I saw the bag had 24 views on ebay in the time I had it for sale. Do you think I will get banned this quickly? I would be devastated and feel foolish for even doing such a thing. I now know not to list any items like this... Sorry - super newbie as my first other lux purchase was a Chanel classic that happened during the same trip. Does anyone know of people getting banned for a first time offense? How aggressively does Hermes track this? Feeling sad and sick as I want to continue buying many more Hermes products...
Hi! No, I didn't but my Username has my first name in it and then the last four letters of my last name - so not full name. However, obviously, FB marketplace has my full name.I don't understand it. Also, I know it sounds silly saying they'd go through thousands of ebay listings, but I'd assume they'd have some type of monitoring system given my friend said they're cracking down on resellers. How? I'm not sure... I just wouldn't want to be flagged and I removed the listing upon finding out.I don't understand it. Okay, thank you!! I appreciate it.Consign the bag to The RealReal or Ann’s and move on. Hermès won’t ban you.

Thanks! Yup. That's what I plan on doing. I figured I'd ask the experts (yourselves) given I didn't want to keep thinking this over. Thank you, all! I'm going to do as suggested.This.
