I am going to visit Toronoto in about 2 & 1/2 weeks time, can someone be kind enough to let me know who is the nicest SA in the Toronoto Hermes shop? Also as a tourist am I entitle to reclaim the tax since I am bring the Hermes goods back to my home country? Many thanks ladies and I look forward to hearing from you.

Majesty - I was at the store a week ago and Kimberly helped me (blonde, 5'4-ish). She was very patient when helping me select a scarf for my mom and took the time to explain the leathers, colors, etc. to me when I told her I was interested in a Kelly/Birkin for the future.
If there's something in particular you're looking perhaps you could call ahead and see if they have it in stock (assuming you're only in Toronto for a short amount of time and are planning to make a purchase).

From what I have seen the prices are not higher than in NY., however there has been some increases since the last time I was in. One good thing is that the CDN. dollar has dropped in comparison, so your U.S. money will go further. Of course the Toronto store would not have the inventory that many of the larger stores have. Still, it is a beautiful store and the SA's there are very kind. I usually deal with Oral and I have found him most helpful. Have fun in TO!
LDDChanel - I just ordered my black PHW and I was wondering how long it took for toronto hermes to call you and get your bag.
Monniewong-- I ordered a black 35 GHW from the Bloor st Hermes last July and it came in mid-Dec -- so 5 month wait. I think I also received the bag quickly since I was not picky about leather.
