I ordered a Black with PHW. I was debating between PHW and GHW - because I like them both but went with PHW. I also love the idea of a red Birkin but I figured that could be the next one. Black is classic. I ordered from the Bloor Street store in Toronto.

I was just there this weekend. The SA took my order...I am not a Vancouver customer, but I am an Hermes customer. Do you think my order will disappear into thin air?

Congrats again! You can't go wrong with black, PHW, a true classic. I put my order in for my birkin in Nov. and I was told approx. one year. I was fine with the wait, but it is getting harder. I have had very good experiences with the Toronto Store.

Oh - me too! The SA I spoke with said she might need a deposit since I was ordering a 40 but it doesn't look like they need one. I really hope my order doesn't disappear! That would be awful. The SA told me the wait would be around 1 year as well.

What size/colour combination are you getting? Congrats! You're almost half way there! Hopefully the next 7 months will go by quickly 
That is fantastic! It's going to be stunning! I've been going back and forth between the Gold/Plat HW and the Clemence/Togo leather. I love the look of the Clemence but I'm a little worried about the weight. My problem is that I love the Gold and Plat so I want both! Too many decisions!
I paid $1000 more for mine last January, so I am not sure your price is correct. Prices fluctuate depending on the leather. I believe a 40, with taxes, is slightly under $12,000. And yes, bags are going up in price at the beginning of May.
