Thanks for your response. Do the prices vary for various colours? I do know it varies depending on type of leather, hardware and size. Tbh this SA has quoted me the K25 epsom for usd 16,797 and B25 togo for usd 13,198.
this is much higher from what I’ve seen and heard in the forum
How can your SA in Asia giving you price quotes in USD? Is this even allowed? But you are right. The prices are way out of range for what this SA has told you. An anything 25 in normal leather would not cost that much.

I asked for usd pricing as it’s easier for me to understand and compare

Regular Hermes pricing of regular B/K styles varies by size and leather only. Not hardware or color.
Your SA is telling you whatever US prices & infos she wants (which are wrong) because she wants you to spend spend spend moreeeee.
Trying to figure out her pricing has nothing to do with the actual price of the bag.
US pricing is irrelevant anyway... you shop in Asia ... but suggest you go to the pricing thread to educate yourself because your SA seems to be playing tons of games with you, sadly.
Omg really... she seems very sweet and wants to help me to get the bags of my choice... but now I’m doubting the whole price game...

I'm sure she is sweet and as others have stated, this "price game" seems normal for Asia. Just understand that to get the "hard to get sizes and colors", you will have to spend a lot of money on other items. As I am sure you have learned, this game is actually quite normal in the world of Hermes to a certain extent. However, it isn't as in your face (blunt.. "buy this much and then I'll give you a bag") in the US... not in my experience anyway. I don't spend anywhere near that amount on other items so I'd never get offered anything if I shopped in Asia. Plus that type of shopping experience feels more like extortion to me  no bueno.

There is nothing nefarious here. You asked for the Asian store’s prices in USD and thus she converted them from the local currency to USD strictly by currency conversions. She wasn’t saying that the price of that bag BOUGHT IN THE US is that price. Hermes items aren’t strictly equally priced with the currency rate conversion being the only difference. With H, in some countries the bags just cost more. The price in whatever currency your store uses, when converted to USD, is higher than buying in America with USD. No different than how the price of an identical item, when bought from Hermes in Paris in Euro and converted to USD will be much lower than buying they same item in USD in the states.

Anyone here from South America and knows the prices there?
Hi! I live in Brazil and the prices here are usually 17-25% higher than US.
There's only two stores in the country and the stock is very low.
However, it's actually pretty easy to get a bag here..
My SA is my former YSL SA, so this might be a little easier for me there, but I know if you ask for a bag and there's something you're looking for in the stock, they will offer you.
I got a k32 last month and don't have many purchases in store.

Did you have to spend 120% more than the value of the K32 in order to purchase it? Or you already have a profile and have spent enough in order to be offered the Kelly?

Nope!
I bought a Oran sandal for my mom last year and a couple ties for my dad. But in all my visits I made sure that I was looking for a Kelly. 35 or 32.
As I said, isn’t very hard to get a bag here and he was my sa in ysl, which I think might helped a bit

I've said it many times on other posts to other posters but I will add the same here.
You cannot assume that should you be in Victor Olivera's store in Brazil that your experience will be the same.
Everyones experience is different depending upon many factors (not just spend)
It can be timing, your relationship with that SA, history with that store.....So many factors.
I become a little frustrated (please forgive me for this ) by people asking 'what store?' 'What SA?' 'What spend?' when they hear about bag offers.. this to my mind is partly irrelevant.
Everyones journey and experience is different.

totally agree! Even with my own experience at the same store where I shopped for many years, there were times I spent more on other things I love and wanted while patiently waiting for my requested bag to show up, as well as my SA would surprised me the very next day after I told her what I wished for....not to mention the time I walked out with a limited edition Kelly without even asking .... there are many factories involved including the relationship you have with your store and SA, sometime just pure luck.

I think majority of people who asked the “questions “, are either just simply curious or having a habit of constantly comparing their spendings with others (more or less of their kids, schools or jobs for examples...) sometimes it happens among friends who shopped at the same store (no offensive to ppl who does this as it is part of human nature).

K32, K35, B35is often available for ppl with no purchase history in Japan. So many ppl are visiting the stores just to ask if there is any B or K available now and SA will say “ let me check it ” and come back to say “ I am very sorry we don’t have at the moment.” They do this routines many times a day Lol. Ppl call this routine Hermes Patrol. Price of purses are about 25 %higher than the US. Also their SA tend to have selected non leather items for clients before visit. There is no obligation to buy them but most ppl buy for the quota bag. My friends got a wooden elephant ( 6 pieces of puzzle) around $4000 since she couldn’t say no Lol.

You are so funny, I had such a good lough about the 4000 EUR worth elephant puzzle:))))

Hi all.. hope you’re staying safe. Needed your advise.
I’ve been offered B30 black togo in rghw, B25 black togo in rghw and K25 etoupe epsom in ghw. Which one would you suggest I should take?
Also, my SA has suggested I need to spend 120% more than the value of each of the bag. So for example the bag is for usd 10, I have to spend usd 12 separately, only then can I purchase the bag. Is this normal?
Also can someone advise the price of these bags in USA and Europe?
Thank you very much for reading.
I am in the US and thankfully never had the experience of buying 120% more than the B/K or whatever purse or item I'd like to buy from H before being sold what I like.
You can look at this situation in two ways: Be annoyed and walk away. Or, if you can truly afford it-be thankful that the SA told you straight-up that he/she expects you to buy a certain amount before you are sold the bag.....and that you don't have to wonder when you will be offered what you'd like to buy.
And for your other question-I'd pick B25 black Togo in rghw over the K25. Simply because I am not a fan of the Epsom leather. Epsom purses are nice. However, they are just not what I prefer. But, you should pick what really makes you happy.
