Scarves Hermès Autumn/Fall Winter 2018 Scarves

I like Chasse en Inde because although the animals are being hunted, that poor hunter reminds me of Elmer Fudd. He’s just running all over the scarf, but he’ll never catch up with the any of the animals!!

I wish we had one of those vacuum capsule systems where we could stuff a capsule with a long-ass signed petition saying “no more polka dots or funky wallpaper” or “Just say no to lazy treatments on classic designs!” and whoosh it up directly to the H gods. At the very least it would be satisfying to watch the capsule zoom through the tubes...

The H creative team would be wise to read this forum on occasion...

Yes! That's exactly what I thought! And on top of a winter scene, would be very appropriate, but my head can't reconcile the snowflake looking polka dots with a tropical scene...

hahaha- you're right HNN- the animals all look like they are laughing at him and he doesn't look like he could hit the side a of a barn with a 20 foot pole....

As for polka dots- I think they work sometimes (on the bandanas in small sizes that are integral to the overall design where the color is minimal and so pattern becomes very important) but yeah- polka dots slapped on top of Tropiques...ermmm...nope....

I hear ya. I have the original Ex Libris bandana in B/W and it has polka dots that work with the design pretty well.




and here's the reissue and it doesn't *look* like they went polka crazy....though I think there are some little dots there on the field.
