Being in Lyon, attended Hermes. No clue about upcoming collection here.

Yeah, that’s what they like to say sometimes. I was pretty pissed off when I went to my boutique a year ago on July 1st and the SA told me no idea when they will be selling the new collection but probably after Podium (weeks later). Only to find out later that day (as expected) the new scarves were up online!!! :cursing:
I’ve since started working with another SA and going to the boutique today to see what I can find out, as I believe this SA will be forthcoming and not secretive (which I hate).

Ugh the design is gorgeous but I can’t stand the dots! Whyyyyy do they do this! Thanks for sharing though yodaling [emoji253]
I'm with you there - one day perhaps Hermes will stop tampering with perfectly acceptable designs by plastering polka dots everywhere. A few year's back when it first happened it did look fresh but now after repeating the same tactic for season after season it just feels a bit desperate. Don't get me started on what they did to Chasse en Inde last season! However, I refuse to be beaten and we still have a few designs and many, many colourways to be introduced to :-) I am interested to see the Lettres scarf in colourways other than red, white and blue and patience is definitely a virtue. I know my local boutique in the UK hadn't had any arrive in the stock room last weekend and the SAs are receiving their training on the collection this coming week but it's not uncommon for them just to have 2 or 3 scarves in time for the official start of the season on 1st July. And I'm curious there haven't been many strong greens to view yet - I remember it being mooted as one of the strengths of the season's collection - or maybe my perception of green is a bit idiosyncratic.

Omg. They ruined a beautiful design. These polka dots are horrible. I have a headache looking at it. Can they not tell that this stuff isn’t selling? Enough with the polka dots, Hermes!

And I’ll add: they make very few 140 designs. They screw half of them up like this. Then they conclude that 140s don’t sell. ‍♀️

I suspect the announced greens might be more prominent in the men’s selection. We’ve seen the wolf scarf as well as some ties in one of the press day pics. Olive and chartreuse did also feature quite a lot in the men’s RTW runway.
PS: are in in London? Just asking to save myself a trip to CP or NBS if they won’t show anything until July. Thanks.

Exactly!! The dots are distracting and “in the way” of the design.:tdown: I can’t even look at those scarves. They should be used as a brutal psychological torture method.

I agree with others who are disappointed with the numerous dotted scarves- there have been too many remixes over the past few seasons. Mythiques Phoenix is such a gorgeous design, but the negative space in the coloriages version diminishes its beauty, IMO.

That being said, we have seen some lovely things, thanks to yodaling1 :flowers: so my wish list has begun!

I agree. In particular with your comment regarding MP. Can you only imagine the frenzy that would occur if Hermes chose to offer a CSGM or a giant silk in the original design with the anthracite, noir, blanc CW?
