It’s funny, I skipped last year’s AW for the same reason. Maybe I’m just more a SS kind of girl...

I agree with Mindi and others that I absolutely hate the practice of slapping a repetitive overlay on a perfectly nice design, minimizing the colors and calling it a day. It’s seriously lazy and cheap of H in my opinion.

I very much like the Della cavalleria Finesse because it is a nice fall green but the white implies it can be worn all year long. I love the way the model tied it so it ripples (anybody who can clue me into that -- is it the waterfall knot? I am seriously knot challenged since I rely on the basic fold.

This is why I am not taken away by the fall scarves. Although I liked the ones posted which I complimented.
Sometimes scarves are dense with detail. That kind of gets in the way of mixing it with a patterned outfit. But I would agree with you overall, @Joannadyne. I mean, when I saw you in the violet Offerandes d'un Jour, it was scarf game over for me regarding you;. That scarf was so beautiful on you that I feel you reasonably could stop collecting. However, don't do that, you're too interesting in commentary and photos to quit us.

I am trying to find @papertiger's discussion of why there's a headless lady (that's the one with the oversized reindeer hat, right?) in Act III. If anyone knows what day the post was or knows the post number, that'd be very

My Sears Kenmore which is 50 years old has a foot pedal which is pressed to power the machine. However, it scoots around the carpet underneath -- there's fix for this, I know -- so I feel your pain, vildachya.

I am holding off for a bit, but I agree, it is best if I buy it from somewhere I can exchange for another color without any issues.
