I am trying to decide between the Grand H Band and the Kilim in Beton. What sizes does the Grand H come in? I have small wrists so I'm wondering if it would feel too heavy on me. But its beautiful.
My wrists are on the small side too (about 6"/15 cm) but I opted for the larger 46mm watch - I find myself reaching for the reading glasses more often, so I wanted the larger screen. I tried on the Kilim at my boutique, and I struggled with the deployment clasp, it didn't seem to have enough room to swing open and closed properly when adjusted for my wrist size. The Grand H band is not yet available in Canada, so I couldn't try it on, but I believe it has the same type of deployment clasp. I ended up choosing a Single Tour leather band and the boutique punched a couple of extra holes for it to fit properly. Not the biggest fashion statement, but simple and elegant.

My friend and I were able to pick up the Gran H band in the 46mm size. I need to remove probably 2 links. I like the look of it. It’s nicely made and high quality as you would expect! It’s heavy but not overly so!

It looks so good! Congratulations!

Did you buy it from the Apple Store or a Hermès boutique?

Also how many links can be removed in total?
Pics I’ve found from MacRumors seem to show 2 removable links on each end. Are all 4 links removable?

Only one on each side is actually removable. I understand why you would look at that pic and think two, but if you really think it through it’s obvious that it’s only one. Once you remove the link I call out, the blue joint would need to latch into the hole of the other stationary link. If both links were removable, there would be no joint to link up to. Hope this makes sense.

We bought at 2 different Apple Stores. We could never place an order on the Hermes site, maybe because the Gran H isn’t in stock. I believe 2 links total can be removed, 1 on each side. My friend was able to do it himself, I went to my jeweler and asked him to do it. I really like it!!

The Apple Store here in Australia don’t have any Grand H on display or to order. Just show as unavailable.

Went to the local Hermès boutique and they told me to preorder online and said they never received the Grand H even to put in the display box.

I didn’t wanna wait another month for Apple delivery so bought a S10 with Vert Criquet single tour (45mm from last season) directly from Hermès.

Comparison shots are with SS S7 (left), SBSS S9 (middle)

The S10 feels much wider than the S7 and S9 and is very much a square. Definitely feels lighter and thinner on the wrist.

Love your watches @zzzman! It’s good to see you here for our yearly chat 🤓 I know I asked this question last year, but I ended up buying another Hermès Apple watch. So kept all my H faces. This year I think I’m going buy just a regular Apple Watch and keep my H Apple Watch 8 and hopefully all the H faces I’ve accumulated when I wear that version.

Can anyone confirm at this point if my H Watch faces will show up on my Hermes Apple watch, and they will or won’t be available on a regular Apple Watch? As long as I don’t lose them totally I’m ok either way. I did a complete search in the thread, but it’s another year later, and wondered if anyone had updated info. Thanks, and happy Saturday! (and of course I looked at the H versions and the grand H looks beautiful, but coming soon is too vague).

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking but if its, can I get the Hermes faces on a non-Hermes watch, the answer is no.

Thanks @acrowcounted! I figured that was the answer for a new non H watch.

I also want confirmation that on my series 9 H AppleWatch I am keeping, the H faces will still be available on the H watch when I switch between! If anyone here knows from experience, that would be great.

Nice to see you again in this thread!

Hermès faces are only available on Apple Watch Hermès and not the regular Apple Watches.

Thanks so much! I do understand, but if I keep my Hermes Series 9, and also purchase a regular non-H Apple Watch Series 10, will my Hermes faces still be available on my Hermès Applewatch 9? When I switch to the regular AppleWatch 10 on particular days, I know there won’t be H faces on the new watch. I’m concerned the pairing process will erase my Hermes faces even for my Hermes version. in theory it shouldn’t, but don’t want to find out the hard way. Hoping that makes sense, it’s hard to explain.

I also know I don’t have a chance in heck that Apple or Hermes would be able to answer that question - but I trust my fellow tpf’rs to be able to do so! TIA

It won’t delete anything. On your iPhone app for Apple Watch, you’ll have a new overarching menu called “All Watches” where it will display a choice between each watch on your account. You will then click which watch you want to edit and any changes you make will only apply to that specific watch. Each one is configured independently. Hermes faces will be there and editable for Hermes Apple Watches, and unseeable for non Hermes Apple Watches.

Thanks so much @acrowcounted. I used to pair three watches, and forgot they each have separate backups (all were H so I didn’t worry). Nothing like a little H to bring out the detailed obsessing 🤓

I wish the Grand H bracelet was available, it might have been enough to push me into another H watch - that is a gorgeous band, but seemingly it’s unclear when it will be readily available. (of course it will be available separately at some point, hmmm.). Thanks again!! :flowers:

I’m eagerly waiting for November when hopefully the Grand H will be available from Apple. Have a lot of Apple gift cards I need to spend!
