The Ultra is SO masculine. I like it on guys, but personally I will not consider it.
Actually I've been thinking about slowly going back to my traditional watches.

Funny you say that. My series 6 can hardly hold a charge. I’ve been wearing my Rolexes and really enjoying them over the last three weeks. Wore an Oura for awhile and wasn’t crazy about that either but I do miss tracking. I recently went back to work and my workouts/steps are so depressing compared to what I was doing before going back to work. I was getting so annoyed with my watch telling me how much my fitness was declining. I’ve been hoping a new Apple Watch would make me motivated to work out very early but it’s so hard!

Yeah battery life on mine can be better too, but still, I think Apple does these updates to kill older models, so we all have to upgrade.

If it weren't for sleep tracking and workouts, I don't really want to wear an Apple Watch 24/7. TBH, I'm a little tired of it. Tired of the same look on my wrist. Ppl look at me and they have to look at my Apple Watch. And there's really no real tech breakthroughs on these watches.

But I am contemplating going from 15ProMax to 16ProMax. At least the new camera features and AI are on there. Just thinking out loud. :graucho:

My wrist is 155mm.
Should I get the small or medium Grand H?

Yes, I say the things I say, but I couldn't get the Rose Azalee Hermes band out of my head. It sold out very fast in the US, but I know there is one in Asia. My friend tracked it down for me. And when the Apple event happened, the band was pulled off website.

Now I'm here, the first thing I do is to call, then rush to the boutique and purchased the last one (on the planet?)

It's such a beautiful Barbie pink. Vibrant, happy, elegant. What can I say? It's even prettier in person. And I think it's the kind of pink that it doesn't matter what age you're in, it's stunning. Hope to get some Hermes leather goods in this color as well.

This paragraph on the Hermès website seem to suggest they may send the watch case first the and Grand H band separately later? I remember someone mentioning it (either here or on MacRumors) but is it confirmed?

I HIGHLY doubt they will send a bundle piecemeal. Sounds to me like the entire order that includes the Grand H band will hold shipping until end of October. (Not to mention that Hermes' e-commerce capabilities are stuck in the early 2000s so a split order would personally make me very nervous that the second half of the order would never arrive...) Neither the band nor the watch with the band is currently available to even order from the Apple Store.

I ordered mine from the Apple Store last night with an estimated delivery of 5 to 12 November.

So I've tried looking it up via google search if an Apple watch can be used without owning an iPhone or without having one in proximity. Most of the answers seem to be from hard core Apple fans who are deadset against the idea and don't really seem to answer the question.

I know my reasons for considering the Apple watch are ridiculous... Simply, I want it as a sporty accessory to match a handbag. I know it's silly and without an iPhone the features are limited, which doesn't bother me. I'll probably consider the model 10 Hermes model. Is it possible to purchase a non-cellular version of the Hermes Apple watch?

I won't be using it for calls, messages, music, etc. Simply for telling the time and well, to match my bag. Things like measuring steps, heart rate etc are a bonus if possible but not required. I figure I can be honest in this forum without being ridiculed! 😅 I have 2 Samsung Android phones and I don't like the Samsung smart watches.

Does anyone do this? I haven't considered if I get a cheap iPhone to manage it or just have my partner set me up as a 'family member' from his work issued phone. If I've made an incorrect assumption and the latter isn't practical, let me know.

Appreciate anyone's insight!
