You might check whether there will be a sale at the Chanel stores this summer. Some say there won't be, although some say that department stores will have one this summer but changes will come next year. IDK for sure.

This has to be the most disorganized sale I've ever been to. People were lining up orderly outside, but a quarter to 4am, people just started running towards the mall entrance. Once the doors opened, it was a mad rush and people from the back were shoving and pushing people who were walking towards the entrance. Unfortunately, a few of us got shoved to the ground by a group behind us and I sprained my ankle. ☹️

Hopefully, Hermes will be more organized next time.

This has to be the most disorganized sale I've ever been to. People were lining up orderly outside, but a quarter to 4am, people just started running towards the mall entrance. Once the doors opened, it was a mad rush and people from the back were shoving and pushing people who were walking towards the entrance. This is terrible. I only have experience with the NYC sale. Even on the VIP day, there was bad behavior by people using one line sitter for 10 people, or one person having 6 or so friends join them in line. I gave up going early after i got pushed back so far by these shenanigans that I didn't make it in with the first group. These same people coordinate their purchasing efforts, run to various places and grab everything off the shelf, e.g., all the cashmere shawls. They then meet in a corner and divide up the stuff, and make calls to people not at the sale for their wish list. It is very discouraging. For those who want silks or ties and are willing to wait, I guess you can get a good price, but everything else is hit or miss depending on the year.

I swore not to return to that sale ever, and so glad i ve kept my promise to myself. This is getting really ridiculous, not Hermes level at all, they must reorganise this thing!
