Here's a huge list of consignment stores

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate

I don't know if this has been brought up already in this thread but how much can i count on the authenticity of the stuff in the consignment shops? Do they only sell authentic items or is there a chance i could be buying a fake? I live in toronto and want to purchase my first LV but don't want to pay full price so i'm looking into our few consignment shops but i'm unsure of what to expect

It depends on the store iteself. Some of them pride themselves on only selling authentic goods, some of them couldn't care less about buying and selling fakes. If you see something you like, ask them what their return policy is. If possible, take it home, take some pics, and authenticate here! If their return policy sucks, maybe see if you can take some pics of them item on the sly? If that ain't happening, then personally I'd steer clear, just to be on the safe side.

Oh, another thought, check them out for complaints with BBB, and also with: www.ripoffreport.com

Thanks for taking the time to hunt down these online stores - most helpful. I've put them in alphabetical order for ease - hope you don't mind. Coachlover1000 what do you think of this: If anyone has had experience with any of these stores, please note it in brackets after the name, e.g. what kind of products they generally offer, if they're any good or overpriced, customer service etc.

Thanks again coachlover1000 ;)

Please check authenticity by posting the item on the 'authenticate this' thread

I have a new one www.memestreasures.com (seller willing to provide pics req. for authenticating before buying).

Honestly, I wish I could talk to other like minded women about things like this. It doesn't matter if I'm in Florida and you're in Alaska, there's no harm with pm'ing each other with out ideas. I have ton of really nice clothes, books, bags, accessories and shoes I want to sell, I've started with Bonanza, but no go so far. Ebay's next I think.I want to go to school to become a nail tech and work from home as I'm not well.. I can see it in my mind now, a really pretty decently sized room, with one side taken up with the manicure table, pedi bath, gel table, etc. Whilst the other side has pretty shelves on the walls with clothes racks, and shoes racks at the bottom. There'll be tables to the front displaying nice bags. I like the sound of that, I really do.

LOVE IT!!!! Been globe trotting and was in NYC for 2 weeks. Am totally sad as even their thrift shops seem to be better :)

Another suggestion is go to the search bar and type in the name ..

There is also a thread dedicated just to LV resellers ..

Happy hunting!
