Please let me know if you find any, I live about 30 miles south of DC in Fredericksburg.:woohoo:

Any and all recommendations for retail therapy are greatly appreciated!!!
Least you have plenty of antique shopping there in Fredericksburg, and an Ulta :)

Absolutely!!!! Haven't been yet but here are the 3 I have heard about so far:

Second Chance (Bethesda) .. not sure if it is the same one as the one in NYC .. if so I will be very happy!
Second Hand Rose (DC)
Secondi (DC)
I will check em out and let you know!
Haven't been to any of those, most of the ones in Arlington/7corners/Annandale haven't been spectacular.

think that we have noticed that... red flags go up....

I passed a comment a while back on the exact same comment. Yes I have noticed this, and it drives me mad. One thing I will say is this, we're entitled to our opinion about your/a/someone's store good or bad, and we WILL have our say. If you don't like it, get over it. If by chance it is your store, take some constructive critisism and make a change for the better. Other than that, I don't mean to be rude but, suck it up!

That is so funny .. I just went to 3 last week in VA after recovering from my trip to Asia (I didn't want to deal with parking in Georgetown and the weekend weather was aweful before that). I was soooo NOT impressed and thought I was just being an NYC snob! So, thank you for confirming my asessment! I am out of town for the next 2 weeks but i PROMISE to do my DC shopping tour as soon as I am back and report on my findings!!!!

Yeah there is a kids shop/adult consignment in Lburg area, one in Ballston/Arlington but most of them are more designed for college/high school or very young and things like purses are not the high movers in the store. A few pawns in the area (including Lburg) have some but they are also priced high, and state they don't authenticate.

You know, I've been to the few consignment shops that I know of in this area, and quite frankly they sold a load of old crap. Yeah, some of them had Coach and Dooney, but they were so old they were almost prehistoric, and the prices on them were ridiculous. Also, one of the stores had some fucci and fartier(god, doesn't that sound awful, lol) jewelry, and they told me quite honestly that it was fake. I asked them why they were selling it then? And they said because they can!!! Hmmmm, not sure I can trust stores with policies like that.
