maybe they won’t close after all since the CEO just stepped down. I am thinking about adding a passport cover to my cart too just because they’re so pretty but I’m thinking maybe should just keep with the pochette trend. easier since I have to keep track of two passports + travel docs

I think Henri Bendel is going to go bye-bye, because L Brands has no faith in the company for unknown reasons, and it lost them money when they tried to expand it beyond the flagship store. The sale only goes up to a 30% discount, so the 10% will not stack with the 30%.

It's on the larger side, but if you like wearing and using totes, it is a visually stunning bag.

I love totes but was hoping this one was sized small enough to be able to use the long strap on occasion. The bag smacks my knees when I use the strap

I also ordered a 2nd petrol Belmont tote today. The one I have now is mostly yellow/green. I prefer more blue/purple or at least more of a rainbow effect like my Gotham bag.
I absolutely love the petrol/oilslick louis bracelet that arrived too!! Natasha bag charm is beyond adorable. Quality is amazing as its very sturdy feeling and the little handbags she's carrying can actually move and slide up and down her arms. Galactic petrol jewelry box was a bit of a let down but keeping it anyway because I really needed it. It's a really thin crossgrain leather that reminds me of the Rebecca Minkoff bag I bought a few years ago that arrived already peeling. Since it's just a small square with simple lines I think the leather won't be prone to peeling like the bag I had.

Thank you for sharing your reviews! The petrol Belmont I saw in the store had green and purple predominantly. Hope you get one you love. That Natasha bag charm is something I may well cave on. I was thinking about the jewelry box with the centennial stripe. I actually forgot to order it, when I was ordering the accessories. I wonder what additional price reductions will occur as Black Friday approaches.

I have a petrol Houston hidden in a closet somewhere. If I remember correctly, the strap is much shorter and might work for this bag. I'm rather petite and it just looks ridiculous with the current strap on me, I feel like i'm going to trip over it lol.

ETA: I ordered a 2nd petrol tote, hoping next one will be a prettier color combo!!

Just a suggestion if that strap doesn't work, I've ordered straps from mautto.com that have worked well. They come in leather, nylon, cotton, myriad of hardware, varying lengths... I get the adjustable option. Has rescued several of my bags that came with an uncomfortable or too short crossbody strap.

I had no idea there was such color variation in the petrol bags. Makes me kind of wish I had just purchased the one I saw at the mall. LOL. Hope you find the perfect strap for it, should you decide to keep the second bag ordered.
