First one arrived and I’m in love! ❤️ Second one should arrive on Thursday.

I saw these pictures of yours and loved the look of this bag. Stalked the website for a while, but the black one was always out of stock. Went on today to look at it, out of stock again. Came back to it maybe an hour later to look again and pine over it, and it said 1 was in stock! Snagged it, along with a pair of circle silver studs that had caught my eye. Hopefully it goes through. I've been looking for a black bag I don't have to baby for a while and I hope this one is it!

Received the Spruce Street crossbody hobo! It's so roomy compared to my other bags and much easier to sift around in, and even has a large inner slip pocket for my phone. I replaced the strap with a longer one, since the original is comically short for crossbody wear.
This is great! What an awesome idea to replace the strap—the strap is very short to wear crossbody.

I recently had the chance to see a 712 Convertible Shoulder Bag in the flesh--THEY ARE NICE! The chain is heavier than the YSL Medium College chain, the Michael Kors Sloan Large chain and the Coach Parker w/ Quilting & Rivets chain! That may be a negative for some, but it does make the bag feel more substantial. Does anyone have this size that can attest to how the bag holds up in shape and material (assuming you've had the bag for over 1-2 years)?

My only complaint about recent Henri Bendel bags, but most especially their accessories, is that their zippers are extremely stiff. I have seen so many cute coin cases, cards and wallets in the past 2 years, but ALL of them have sticky, rough zippers. They're sewn too closely to the fabric underlay or something.

Still, I think their soft leather quilted collections in the No. 7 and 712 lines (circa 2013 to present) are the best.

I bought the camera bag during the winter sale in January and only use it occasionally so can’t attest to how it holds up. I also own a MK large Sloan and the chain on the 712 is much heavier.

What are your thoughts on the flap on the shoulder bag? I feel like it’s a bit too puffy and makes the bag bulky - that’s the main reason I ended up getting the camera bag instead.

I like the shoulder flap, even though it is a bit puffy and stiff. I am hoping it means the bag will keep its structure longer (maybe?).

The leather "puffiness" from the quilting pattern and the leather feel reminds me of the YSL college bag.
In fact, I think I like the classiness of the Henri Bendel 712 convertible shoulder over the Coach Parker with Quilting & Rivets. It's definitely more chic and high quality like the Coach Dinky with Quilting.

The pink and beige colors do not look nearly as nice as the black, in my opinion. The black is very saturated; it's well done, no chipping like on the Coach quilted Parkers in black that I ordered.

I hope to check back in a year's time and see how you're liking your camera bag!
