Question: If I were to buy a bag... and I heard that Bendel can do price adjustments within 10 days of purchasing, but what IF within the 30 days that you have to return it goes on sale? Would you return it and then say you want to buy it back? Do you think they would let you? I know with my luck I'll get the bag and it will go on sale after the 20 day mark... do I wait it out or get it now...? :confused1:

I am so glad you posted modeling photos bc I just ordered this bag and saw someone else modeling the mini one and after that I began to worry I made a mistake with the big one and it might swallow me bc I'm 5'1. After seeing your post I know I didn't make a mistake. Thank you:biggrin:

I got my Rivington convertible earlier today (Friday) but wont be able to reveal her till Saturday morning...she's a beauty!! There will be more HB bags in MY future! It's my first 'non Coach' bag...maybe I'll become a purse 'Player'...

Great question! Sorry to quote you and not answer but I'm curious too because I don't own any HB leather! That Dylan collection is gorgeous though.

Not sure if you'd consider the Worth Avenue collection "squishy" but I consider it soft and pillowy. The interior is definitely a "squishier" pebble leather; not the cheap kind of squishy. It's durable (think Coach's polished pebble leather) so you can throw your things in there and it doesn't scuff up easily. I think some PFers call this kind of leather "chewy" - in a good way!

The exterior is a softer finish that wears beautifully and conforms to your body. It gets more buttery with use. I actually prefer this type of leather to HB's more structured (cardboard-like) "leathers" hehe.

As for durability, it all depends on one's usage, I think. If you're not overly rough with it, it wears beautifully. I'm usually gentle with my bags so it doesn't show any scuffs... yet? :p

Yay, congrats!! I can't wait to see the reveal! I've been eyeing that colorway since it first came out. It's a pretty neutral! There was one on ebay I was debating (same bag you purchased)... it went for a super low price! Someone got a great bargain! Do let us know your impressions about sizing/weight because that's what holds me back.

Do you happen to remember how much the EBay seller was asking?

I think I did well -- after the additional 10% off of the original markdown (forgot percentage?), my total was $268, plus $23 tax, GRAND total = $291....plus a bonus set of four Zoya nail lacquers. Not bad for a bag that retails for $498!
