Sorry for being debby downer here (as I am sorry you are going through this) but am I the only one that finds this weird that you got the first purse (defective one) - then instead of waiting for it to be returned or LV to fix it, you just bought another of the exact purse? I personally would never feel comfortable buying a second item until I know for certain if they would fix the one I already purchased or offer you an exchange??


When I brought it to the store for a refund , I was told the vachetta is a factory defect and they cannot refund it but I have to return it online . Having them reviewed it , I was confident that I will be refunded . So I got a replacement at the store instead , that way I was able to inspect it myself . It is just a matter of trust since my intentions are clear . But I learned my lesson the hard way.

Did the store ship it back for you? When my MC pouch came with a defect, the store sent it back and guaranteed everything.

I think that is terrible customer service of LV if you took the time to drive to the store and they told you to return online??? Why? Couldn't they have sent the item back for you?

Yes It was a mistake on their end telling me to return it to the store and I was devastated when the store rejected the refund because of the defect .
 
This brass is very sensitive and will scratch easily from use . I did not use the first one that I got online . I will wait for her to call me back next week . She will review the same pictures that I posted here over the weekend .

I have this same exact bag so I am familiar with the lock....mine still doesn't look like that....let us know what happens with the decision...

Agree - bad service.

They do have a few odd rules like this. I know if you buy online using PayPal you cannot return it to a store. And I bought something earlier this year online, took it to my Saks to return it, and the girl said because it was a Saks boutique they couldn't accept an online return. It was easy enough to ship back so I got over it. But they don't make the online ordering process super attractive when you hear about stuff like this. Good luck to the OP! Hope it works out.
