I'm 5'4, UK size 8 and I have the speedy 30 and think it looks completely fine as crossbody.
I carry it equally just as much hand held, crook of arm, 1 shoulder and crossbody. I just think it's so perfectly versatile however you wear it and doesn't look overwhelming on my frame when I wear it crossbody.
It doesn't have a rigid structure so the canvas moulds to your body and doesn't look overly boxy and bulky.
