Help!!! Our Pf Photos On A Fake Sale Site

We should all put "FAKE BAGS", "DO NOT BUY ME", "FAKES KILL" or something alone this line as water marks so people will think twice before stealing them for wrong purposes

and not intended for use on your counterfeit website

Yes I think that's the best thing to do, just something that will scream AUTHENTIC not affiliated with any fake sellers.

There has to be a way to out smart these scammers and play them at their own game. I think this is a good start that way they wont be so apt to steal photo's from this forum if they are marked like this.

You know, I've been thinking about this. I see Meg and Vlads point of view absolutely. tPF without pics? What would be the point? I'm sure many of you, like me, have had pics stolen by fraudulent ebayers before.We simply report the fraudulent sellers and move on. Apart from the very sensible watermarking of pics which has been suggested, tPFers might be more careful about posting personal information which might identify them. This should be PM'd or emailed.

I have got an idea! Can we come up with a standard in our watermark? For example

"Mrssparkles @ tPF"
"if you see this photo on any other site, it's stolen"

OK, it's too verbose. Maybe someone can come up with something short and sweet please!

It would be very sad to have tPF without pictures.

MrsS thats sounds like a very good idea. My coworker said she saw a pic of my "flower Birkin" on a fake website. I asked her to find it for me cause it makes me so sad. I took the pic for tpf not for some fakers. I am hesitant now to even post pics of my new babies.
