Help! Naming baby after LV?

i know a couple of girls whoes names are CHANEL.......cute, but i'm glad i didn't name my daughter that!!!!

Sophie is cute....... i had my mom bought me the Sophie because of my daughter Sophia!!!;)

Saleya is cute. The first two I don't know, kids can be cruel and she might get teased being so obviously named after a designer label.

if you do decide to name your baby after LV, i agree with the others to name your girl after a purse instead.. Jasmin & Eliza are 2 that I like.. especially Eliza.

I'm very anti naming your child after a product. I'm of the firm mind that if you love a product-buy it, wear it, etc. don't doom someone to live 70+ years named after it.

I think Freakonomics has an entire chapter dedicated to why parents name their children after what they deem "upper class" products. I wish I could find it online, it was an interesting read.

^

How about Louise ? that the closest you can get to LV and without jeopardizing your baby's future. And that name is super cool again- French seem to think so, so many Louis and Louise born these past years !

Please, no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I taught school for many years, & there was a family who (I guess) liked to gamble. One of their sons was named Casino, another Reno, & the sister had another gambling name (can't remember). :roflmfao: I'd stick with Auriel. That's much prettier. I do like Kirsten too! ;)

I actually like Vuittona as well, but since you were actually thinking of Ariel, maybe you can name her....

Ariel Vuittona (then your last name)

That way, you still get Ariel and you love for LV. Just an idea!
