If she is older then you shouldn't get her the Carly because it is heavy. I think an Ergo would be your best bet !
I'd go for the black carly or the black hamptons pebbled leather shoulder tote. Both classic are, beautiful bags that hold plenty and won't go out of style.
I have the 2nd one and it is probably one of my favorite bags. It is roomy and yet it stays on my shoulder well.

This bag is one that I personally love. I had it, then returned it to get a different bag, and I've regretted it since so am getting it back for PCE.

But in white. The white has a white leather body, and chocolate brown leather handles, and the leather bordering the zipper is chocolate brown as well.
It's a very classic looking bag, it isn't fussy, and I think the brown accents really add to the sophistication of the look. I adore it. From what I remember, it was pretty lightweight because there wasn't much hardware, and it was comfortable on the shoulder.
