just popping in to say that my coralline nackie arrived this afternoon. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed at first glance.
1. color not what I expected--it is very red with only a hint of orange--I thought it would be more orangey or coral
2. extremely heavy (thick, durable leather is good, but I have too many heavy bags that I am reluctant to use)
3. zippers are sticky (drives me crazy and I don't expect to need to grease zippers on new bags) and the main zipper is stitched so the extra part is flapping on the outside rather than tucked in--will post pics later since I know that explanation may not make sense

Sorry you're not totally thrilled with your Nackie, Renza. I look forward to your pics though and think i understand what you mean about the zipper sticking out.

Hey guys! Not familiar with HH and I was looking at their website at the Havana Hobo. I used to have one and now I am looking to maybe purchase one again.
I do see a Havana2 hobo and the Havana hobo. What is the difference except for the price and colors?

my best guess is that one of them (i think the Havana, the more expensive one) is made in the US and has that wax print lining. the other one I assume is not necessarily made in the US and has the more sedate, feather print lining. i think the Havana comes with that weird little HH metal tag thingy too.
random PSA: after two weeks of trying to get HH to respond to me, i have found out the following:
- no old gift card codes or store credit codes will work due to a change in the "system".
- requesting codes that work takes at least 2 weeks because of the many many requests that the IT department is getting on this front
- although they may promise you response dates, they don't mean much and no one thinks to contact you to let you know that, no, sorry, we won't be responding to your email today like we promised last week. Sorry!
that said i chatted with someone different today who promised to personally follow up so i am (likely stupidly) hopeful, again.
so if anyone is holding onto any sort of gift card or store credit codes generated by the previous regime, you may want to contact them well in advance of when you actually might want to purchase something.

I finally got my order! The Sofia clutch is cute. The Hadley cuff is going back. It is way to big on me and looks and feels ridiculous. Returns are interesting now...you have to email them if you want to return something. I hope its not like quitting a gym where they try to talk you out of it.....
I'm still waiting on my Tan Wyeth (ordered in the memorial day sale) and haven't heard anything lately (other than the "we received your email" email) despite emailing them last week and this week. Was expecting some hassle and delay when I ordered, but hopeful that I was going to get it soon since others have had some luck finally. I was told it was shipping from the factory the last week in June so...?? *kanye shrug* I should check and see if my cc has been charged I guess.
I'm wondering about this as well. I emailed them yesterday and didn't even get the automatic reply; I wasn't surprised since they didn't respond to my last two emails before the Nackie was sent. Now I'm on hold to talk to CS, and they have the most annoying music ever...
ETA: I had to hang up before I got anyone on the phone, but I just received a UPS return label in my email! Hopefully the actual return/refund will go smoothly as well.

Hi MolMol; Well, at least you got the stuff you ordered in a (somewhat) timely fashion! Which Sofia color did you get? I have Wild Rose & I love it. I find it really versatile & use it way more than expected. I hope you like yours too
Can I ask more about the Hadley? I think you're the only HHhottie who's gotten one so far! Which color did you get? (We'd)love a photo before you return it if possible? When you say too big, do you mean it's just too wide & not really your style? Or do you have very small wrists & it actually doesn't fit? Does quality seem on par with the Ramones & Celinas?
