Fleur- It doesn't hurt to ask a seller to hold an item for you. I've done that a couple of times when I knew I had some handbag money freeing up soon.

Saffron is a pretty color but I don't think it will work on my skin tone. Someone else should scoop them up though!!

Fleur - I agree that it's definitely worth asking. I've held items for people in the past with no problems.

It wasn't me who got either of the saffron pallenbergs. Hope it was hottie(s) who took them home.

I'm feeling kinda bummed. Awhile back I sold off all my HH products (except for a sunglass case or 2) to earn some much needed money at the time. Although I don't really specifically miss any of the bags I sold (I do miss the clutch wallets and the carryalls!), I really miss having my HH collection. HH handbags were the only ones I had at the time so I had to buy some to replace those. I bought a few generic ones that I have since let go and I recently bought 3 SAK purses (this one in black and portobello http://www.thesak.com/Bellagio_Tote/pd/np/203/p/1249.html -- and then another style in portobello). These 3 are now the only handbags I have. Although cute and very functional, they are no HH. I'm not really into the current HH styles (Fall 2009 and prior were my favorites) but I would like to build up a collection of favorites again. There was really no point to this post except to say that I'm kicking myself for letting my HH stuff go (even though it was pretty much necessary at the time). :shucks:

fleur, :hugs: don't kick yourself for doing what you had to do. you can rebuild your collection one at a time. the oldies still come up for sale (even the highly coveted ones). and this time, you can acquire them guilt-free.

Aww, thank sacc! :hugs: You're right. I'm trying to make a plan to put aside a little $$ every so often in a special account just for "dream bags". That way, when something old pops up on the BonBay I'll be able to jump without worrying. And the money won't be taken away from any other purpose, even my fun money account.

If that magic dot newman is still up on bon when I get paid in March, I'm totally caving on it.

I just started doing the Tonij thing where I rotate bags every week. My DH is kind of like, WTF with all the bags? But I'm saying hey, at least I am using them all....
:D

go for it, Dream. I'll cross my fingers for you that it's still there when you get some moo-lah!

LOL @ your DH. I swear, I don't know if I'm ever going to find a man that will understand (or even tolerate) my bag obsession. My ex-bf saw me use one purse for the longest time when we first met (I hadn't gotten into HH then). A few months into our relationship I started buying up HH items and so one day he saw me with a new purse. He says, "where is your old purse?" I replied, "Oh I bought another one, isn't it cute?" He says slowly, "Yeeeaaaahhh, but I don't know why you needed another. You can only carry one at a time and the other one was nice." :wtf: BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! :lawl: Silly man!

ETA: I should've replied "Well why do you have fifty-billion DVDS? You can only watch one at at time."

please be careful with the new groupons! Last time they forgot to add the fine print about new customers only and I had to fight to get my refund. Also, groupons are not that good of deal as before. If there is a 20% code, they will deduct your groupon, then the code. You will not get as good of deal as everyone else. They have totally ruined the discount of the groupon. Either you get the percentage, or the groupon. In some cases I had to wait till the item went back to almost retail to get a good deal with my groupon. example price-$350-$175(groupon)=$175-20%=$145. With the groupon and the end total you paid $318. Without groupon-$350-20%=$280. Now I know you only paid $75 for the groupon, but the whole point is to make it worth $175. If you factor in you only paid $75 for Groupon it is $220 verses $280. You do save $60, but still. Everyone else gets to use the code, and you don't get to use the code in the same way if you are using a groupon. They penalize you for using your groupon. Not right. This is not the way they explained the groupons when they came out.
