I'm cheap, too. But, I think I know where common sense comes into play, lol. I agree. $100 for a BAL is absurd. :( Oh well. If there is an option to offer, I will offer x amount (20% or less off the asking price) and go from there. I think that is a general ok rule, no?

Isn't there an option to automatically decline offers that are below a certain amount? Then you won't even have to look at them! I love the ones who insult your item before offering their lowball price. Why do you want it then, if it's so used/ugly/out of season/worthless?

^ Yeah there is one on feebay but I'm not sure about Bonz.

When I make offers, I just go with what I think is reasonable based on the rarity/condition and go from there.

I don't mind reasonable offers when I sell unless I say that the price is firm, but I think that asking $100-$300 for a B-bag is wrong. It's not like Bal ever goes on sale or anything. Plus even the would-be buyer knows how much Bals are worth.

Slightly OT but relevant to low-ball offers, I recently submitted an EUC but pristine MJ Stam from 2005 to Avelle/BBOS. The Stam retailed for $1,200 in 2005 and Avelle/BBOS offered me $120 cash or $180 store credit. Now I didn't expect to get $1,200 or anywhere close to that but I thought the Stam deserved at least a $500-$600 offer considering that it's a Stam and it was in great condition.

Anyway, I immediately declined Avelle's offer and I ended up selling the Stam for $575 shipped on Bonz.

I do think using the OBO option is helpful for slow moving items though.

Are you serious Bri 100$ for a bal that is just stupid why would someone even ask that.

ITA if the Hudson listing had a pic of the strap and a little note about being able to rehab it with another O ring I think she could get that much for sure. It is a rare color and the condition looks great.

IDK if at this point in time I would pay 374 for any HH bag unless it was a PM Lillie in Corsaire in Mint condition, or my HG Pallenberg Duffle in red.

I have to admit that I love my vachetta TS Hudson satchel so much that it is one bag that I would pay that much for. The Persian Rose TS Hudson satchel is another that I would expect I'd have to open the pocketbook for, LOL. That's a shame that the smoke blue is gone. I had that on watch. I don't mind it being a 2-strap - I don't use the shoulder strap anyway.

Man, that lookbook is crap. I don't understand why they don't clip their photos out properly--what is with the yellow bg :-/ Anyway, I will stop being a b*tch now. Looking forward to seeing a real spring lookbook!

?.. That's a shame that the smoke blue is gone. I had that on watch. I don't mind it being a 2-strap - I don't use the shoulder strap anyway.

Thank you, m'lady! I do appreciate all the comments on the lovely smoke blue.

To the rest of the Hotties: It wasn't taken down for any reason other than it sold with a decent BIN. Just 'cause I don't often post in this sub-forum anymore doesn't mean that I don't read the posts. Please remember that.:shrugs::shrugs::shrugs:

Aw, India.... No one was trying to be mean... :hugs:. I think we are all a little jealous and trying to figure out how we'd make it work if we wanted the strap. I am sorry if it upset you, as that was not my intention. It's pretty but a little out of my budget right now. :( I had it on watch, too!

I am glad that your bag found a new home. I am sure that it will be loved mucho!

I am still repairing a bag that I bought a while back from Craigslist. What an expensive nightmare it has turned out to be, blech...

India- Hope you didn't take offense to anything I said.:smooch: We just discussed the bag like we would if it were like any other seller was selling it.

I've had my auctions/listings discussed on here to and I've always felt a little awkward about responding.

Just chatting about it like we would any other auction. Not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, everyone was just being honest about what they thought of the bag.
