The leather "pieces" are still there - they are part of the bag and were not harmed in any way. Just slipped the rings out. Yes, to each his/her own.
I agree... and smoke blue, too!! I would have loved to try one, but only as a 3S satchel. I'm a purist.

I have a problem with the HH site on both my PC at home and at work. The sub-menus appear halfway down the page instead of immediately below the top tab when it is clicked on. The new site design is worse. It moves the sub-menus down a few inches and over to the right, so that the handbags menu in 3" below the "About Us" tab.
Just a heads up, they have music playing on the site now... so don't let the boss know your on HH at work.
What happened to the Hudson Double Strap? I would have loved to get that as my next project bag. Seems like it could be an easy enough fix. I would have loved to put some BE style removable clips anyway.
I agree. I was a little sad that it was missing the strap, but a little less and I would have thought about it, lol.

Oh maybe it was pulled based on the comments here - if it seems like she could get what she wanted based on condition - but if the listing had made clear that the leather was intact and all you needed were new rings maybe it would have done better.

ITA if the Hudson listing had a pic of the strap and a little note about being able to rehab it with another O ring I think she could get that much for sure. It is a rare color and the condition looks great.
IDK if at this point in time I would pay 374 for any HH bag unless it was a PM Lillie in Corsaire in Mint condition, or my HG Pallenberg Duffle in red.

That's a shame about the Smoke Blue 3S. I thought the functionality was good before the modification but to each his/her own.
Also people are always trying to lowball others lately. I'm all about getting a deal but $100-$300 offers for a B-bag is ridiculous. Avelle/BBOS always does lowball offers like that too.
