have you set a limit on the number of bags you will own?

practical girl here :)

i have set a limit in a sense by their usage.

1 travel
1 evening bag (formal)
1 small go-to bag
1 big go-to bag
1 all around casual bag
1 wallet
1 exotic/ "prize" / collector bag

Okay...here's the thing. I know I should have a limit. As a matter of fact, I have surpassed the limit I know I should have. BUT, as I sit here typing this, those @#8! ads show up luring me to bags on sites I have browsed (thanks a lot, Google), and I go, "oooh, I want that," and the junkie in me gets going.

Now, on the other hand, having spent a large part of the holiday weekend binge-watching episodes of "Breaking Bad," (hey- I had to rest a bad leg), I feel that as addictions go, having a bag, um, problem, is not the worst thing in the world.

And there's the big blue arrow that will take me to the Rebecca Minkoff site, glaring at me from above. C'mon. Cut it out!

Hahahaha love it! Your post made me laugh out loud...😊

No, but I am in the process of doing so. I realized that I have way too many bags just sitting there in my closet. When I like a bag, I tend to use it everyday until I get tired of it, which may not be for several months.

Last night I counted my bags and .... I realized I had 52!
15 are premier designers... The rest is from contemporary or more obscured brands .
And I did not count the croc vintage bags I have been collecting for years.
Of course, I more or less carry the same ones.
With the money spent on the contemporary.... i could have bought a Hermes Lindy+ a Hermes Picotin ... At least!
What a shame!

I feel the same! But it's so hard to part with the bags even if I don't use them. And also where do you sell them?

when i started collecting high end bags 3 yrs ago i've set a limit of 1 bag for every brand i like.. unfortunately that didn't happen now I've decided to have 2 of each brand and sell some that i really don't use ..

i know how hard it is to part always find a reason to keep.. but i'm trying very hard to really set a limit .. Especially now i'm having a problem with my shoulder .. as much as i do not like handheld bags it looks like it will be my next bestfriend .. i only sell my bags to my friends who are interested ..
