3 is the top number for me. For the longest time I only had one, but then I started seeing bags I just couldn't live without... so then I was going to do 2, one for every day and one for when I feel like looking cute. Then I figured, hey, 3 is a nice round number, I can rotate occasionally and it's not so many that it would give me anxiety as to which bag I should wear in the mornings. So, 3 it is. I am thinking about just going banned now, but if I do find something I really want, I would be going with the one in one out policy that I currently have with my clothes, perfume, and jewelry wardrobe!

I've set the limit to seven, one for each day of the week. This past year I've added three bags(Hermès Bolide and Lindy, and a Mulberry Bayswater), and I am overwhelmed with having to rotate, put away, etc. I'm very particular about storing bags a certain way, and want each and every bag to get equal air time. I'm going to downgrade and give some of my bags away to my mother or sister. Some of the bags were impulse purchases, and with that money I could have bought another Birkin or Kelly. I've realised that I don't need that many bags, it's stressful to manage even rotate four. So seven would be my absolute max.

I agree lesboitesorange! With the money I recently
spent on impulse purchases I could have bought a Picotin or an Evelyne !

no specific limit for me
I have about 10-12. I'd prefer not to add any until I sell something but sometimes I see something I want for a good price and I have to take it when it's available.
As much as I think I want to reduce my bag population, as soon as I sell one (which I don't sell a lot), I have a tendency to think I can justify buying another one.
