I understand the want/need for color, but when I shopped that way I would end up with too many in each color family. So now I think in terms of what suits my outfits . I am still trying to downsize my collection, I have 4 bags I'm trying to sell. As such I'm no longer using them. I use 2 bags right now 1) Balenciaga Velo in Black , slouchy and rugged looking, I like the crossbody option 2) Louis Vuitton Iena MM in Damier Azur, feminine, lightweight, easy to carry tote. I feel these two bags give me a feminine or more street style. Although I haven't used it in a while, I also have a blue Longchamp tote that's great for errands, too.

I'm happy with these bags. If I do want something new in the future, I am looking to purchase something in a small size that's a statement piece, an evening bag.

Yes, in that I have every bag I could reasonably want and don't feel limited by handbag choice to outfit relative. No because its nice to change things up from time to time. A new piece inspires me and stops my outfits getting boring!
Personally I think its about finding a balance between the two. I don't want to end up with too many bags, nor do I want to wear the same pieces all the time!

I have 6 in my collection currently, after a purge and careful buying, even sold and re-bought the same bag to change sizes that will work better for me haha. I lovelovelove all of my current bags, I feel that I'm 1-2 bags away from purse peace and these 2 bags have been on my wishlist for a long long time, they're definitely not new. But honestly I'm pretty sure that there's gonna be new bags that I will absolutely want so..... I'm really not sure when I'll attain purse peace haha.

Well, my search for a red purse continues. The Elleme Baozi bag was too small. The Elleme Raisin (next size up) has a defect in the top hand design, and I'm not interested in hoping that a replacement bag will solve this problem. That plus the color and quality of the leather underwhelmed me. So my hunt for a "perfect" red bag continues.

So, this thread has given me food for thought because I've gone from just ONE bag (plus evening bag) to gathering a collection. I'm really enjoying the variety of colors and styles, but what I've realized is I have just a couple bags I want in specific colors. Since I can't find them, and the one I can find is new and twice what I am willing to pay (so waiting for a sale), I get the next best thing-bags that I'm still excited about, at great discounts, but I need to wait for the ones I want the most since I still want them and have plenty of bags in the meantime.

actually i am. i am not interested in any other bag, and i cant bear to think to let go any f the bag currently n my collection.

my number is still very hgh, but i am happy. better than to minimize for the sale of minimizing and end up losing something that i love.
