This is a contemporary bag which I changed permanently, just cuz I wanted to try it.
The top is the original and the bottom pic is my handiwork.
I have seen your work on other threads, and this one is my favourite of the ones you've shown! I would have never guessed it was the same bag, even with the coach!

I’ve gotten my bag altered to make it more pratical for my lifestyle: mom of a toddler. I had holes made in my small LP to be able to add a strap for wearing it crossbody.

Oh this is a nice idea! :amuse:

I recently was inspired to do some color blocking on this little Kate Spade:

I scrolled through your post to see the after picture only to realize the first one is the final look- wow! :amazed: It doesn't even look like you painted it, looks like it was that way since production! Great job, my hands would have shaken so much to do that awesome of a job lol

I have Belstaff coveted men’s bag ( I Robot movie, Interpreter movie etc etc) which I most often carry as a work bag....even though I could have sold it for more than $500, I decided to keep it forever and embellish it with some patches related to my passion and profession

Love this! I have been thinking about doing this same thing but never had the guts to do it.

I think I'm going to do something similar! This looks great

My Rebecca Minkoff MAC (full size) got a new life when I removed the front clip and clipped on a MJ short shoulder strap. Great size for wearing just tucked under the arm.

Ooh the leather on this one looks so squishy I love it  I don't like bags with short shoulder straps but I do have one and you've given me the idea to lengthen the strap. Can't believe I didn't think of this lol.

My recent surgery.
I turned a clutch into a crossbody bag with a top handle. It's a frankenbag and I love it.
But I may perform more surgeries in the future.
