Thank you very much.
I tried to PM you but it says I “may not” communicate with you.
I’m texting my SA now to let him
Know to look for what Rogue Satchels are left and remember they’re marked at the price point they were when they were on sale in July. In October he told me there was still a few left , it’s now February but I know for sure there is some left in chalk or with the snake handles.

Thank you very much.

Yes love Coach is the future and the past! Their vintage bags are wonderful and their new bags are better than any other brand IMO. The only time Coach had a bad run was during their canvas CC stage and their poppy bags. Thank God Stuart Vevers took over and his first release was the almighty Borough bag!!! Y’all know that bag is legendary! Thank God for Stuart saving Coach and creating Coach 1941! ♥️♥️♥️
I completely agree with you! I remember when Coach 1941 first launched, there was a LOT of skepticism over the prices. Coach was on a downturn and many couldn't think of paying those prices for a Coach bag. The re-branding and up in quality was a genius move. Even my average consumer girlfriends (not crazy TPFers like us, haha!) have told me, unprompted, that Coach has "really upped its game."

I believe the Borough was under Reed Krakoff, is it debuted a year before Vevers was creative director. Vevers brought the Swagger into light, as well as the Rhyders in his first Fall 2014 collection. I have a Rhyder 33 which I ADORE and use often (when I am not in my Rogues )

I get the "THAT'S a Coach bag!?" when people compliment me on my bags- namely the Rogues because I've been wearing those the most recently. Upping their game is definitely something they needed. Don't get me wrong, Krakoff's Madison leather line was really nice, I still have a Madison hobo I will not dare to part with, but his designs were starting to get tired. I had hopes of a breath of fresh air with the 2012 Legacy line, because it paid homage to the older, classic Coach they are known for, but then it took a turn.

I think it’s all of the reasons. If you’ve been buying for a long time, yes, there’ll be days that you’ll get sick of it or get bored and want some changes. Be it cleaning up and purging or simply switching to any other.

Or one day, the brand will get very popular their old production can’t keep up and they have to hurry up the production or want to expand the business, therefore, feed the beast or something will happen to make the quality goes down hill and old fans will leave them.

Business has its life cycle and it’s hard to keep it alive. That’s a very hard work. Let alone fashion business when things move at light speed these days. I’m sad, but not surprised to see many brands come and go.

I have the Rhyder as well in the gorgeous Mink Taupe grey color. I don’t know what size mine is, it’s big though. I do think the Borough was under Vevers because I first got mine in December of 2013, they were not allowed in any sale not even SAs could get them at a discount and I loved that! So j paid 595 plus tax for my oxblood borough and it’s still brand new and gorgeoussss. Stuart Vevers took over in mid 2013 I remember reading an article that Vevers
Took over in mid 2013. Ever since the Borough Coach has been cranking out amazing pieces. I never liked anything Reed Krackoff made. I stopped buying Coach during their CC and poppy phase, made a brief reappearance during the legacy days and still have my legacy saddle bag that’s gorgeous and my beige limited edition large Madison with the leather and chain strap. Other than those 2 I didn’t buy Coach at all again till
The end of 2013 with the Borough. After that I was hooked and 1941 or not I love almost
All the boutique bags. I really want a PARKER now!

Wasn’t the legacy line the one with the multicolored satiny interior? That was around 2008 I think. I have the saddle bag that’s gorgeous from that.
Also what Rogues do you have? Love sharing rogue stories ♥️

And have you seen the new Rogue shoulder bags? I’m undecided because I love my Rogue handles.

I have, and I tried it on. It is significantly lighter in weight than the regular Rogues. Also, the shoulder straps slipped off easily when I tried it on. I thought it due to it being empty, but another poster in the Coach forum returned hers because it was happening even filled. My suggestion is if you can, go to a store and check it out in person.

The one with the striped lining in 2006 was the 65th Anniversary collection. They did one in 2012 with a lot of color and solid leathers. It was homage to the old school styles. I ended up with an archival Rambler, a colorblock Patricia, and a duffle from that line. I kept my duffle.

I want the Parker too! The one with studs, in black. I hope to get one eventually when they are on sale. I'm in a shopping ban until I get a dark teal bag, and then the Parker when it's highly reduced or used. By the way, the Parker with studs - do you have experience with studs on bags? Do they fall off? I love the look of that one but if the studs will fall off, I might pick the plain black one.
