The Rogue Satchel is the one I was hankering after.
The only one left the day I was there had a big scuff down the front. They never got another in. [emoji22]
Oh love! You know Coach isn’t sending ANY of their 1941 bags to the outlet anymore. They also want to stop other retailers (like Nordstrom and Saks) from sending a 1941 bag to their respective outlets. They want to keep the prestige and exclusivity of 1941 and I love that.
With that said even though they don’t have the 1941 Rogue Satchel available at the store it’s still at their warehouse! In October my SA told me I could still order the Rogue Satchel color that I’m missing (the grey with snake handles) only through an SA. But it’s possible! They are literally sitting in the warehouse until they’re secretly all
bought through SAs. So darling you can go into a Coach store and talk to someone that’s been working there for a while (not someone new) , and they can pull up what Rogue Satchels are left in the warehouse and you can still buy them for whatever price they were on sale for before they disappeared off the site.
It’s honestly my favorite bag ever. That’s why I had to get it in every color because they had told me they were being discontinued and will not be going to outlets etc. wishing you luck darling!

I wanted to chime in on the Coach 1941 line. I am hooked. I have two regular Rogues, a Rogue satchel and the quilted Dinky. I rarely wear any other bags because of how wonderful these are, and I saw they are debuting Rogue shoulder bags on the Coach forum for Spring, so that's now on my radar....

I’m a total Satchel girl so the Rogue Satchel and regular Rogue are what I gravitate to. :( I did want a 1941 Bandit for like 5 minutes before I talked myself out of it lol. Love this glovetanned leather and suede! My grey suede Rogue is immune to stains by the grace of the Handbag Gods lol. Love love 1941 line!!

What color is your Rogue Satchel??? God I love that bag!!!! The oxblood is my fave. I still have the other 2 in the boxes they arrived in! Lol They are backups for my oxblood. Such a beautiful
design. Perfect leather, perfect interior. Makes me wonder why ANYONE would want an LV speedy after they’ve had the Coach 1941 leather experience. And IMO even though the 1941 prices are pretty on par with the speedy the 1941 bags are worth MORE. They’re so perfectly made. I really am so over people buying canvas sacks just for the label. Smh.

I did see one at the Outlet, but I was referring to the boutique.
The young lady was very pleasant, but just didn’t seem very knowledgeable. And probably very new, as 3 customers in the store had her confused as to who to help first.
I will give it another shot, however.
Thanks for the tip!

It is interesting to read all the MK hate on TPF because that is the brand that drew me into designer purses in 2009 and led me to the forum. I own the less popular designs I guess as I don't see reveals of the Bowery, Louisa, or Bristol but they have wonderful leather, aren't covered in logos, and have great practical pockets inside and out. I find MK to be one of the most user friendly designers out there and available for good prices. Coach 1941 is more luxurious, but much pricier and usually less organization. I buy bags I like from multiple contemporary designers. I do feel it will take a lot to interest me in buying in the next year as I have plenty to meet my needs and wants after collecting for 8+ yrs.

I have the chalk with oxblood handles Rogue satchel. I have the regular Rogue in oxblood with the rivets, and steel blue.

I have several MK bags and I like the ones I have. But I haven't gotten anything from MK in quite some time, and probably won't, only because I feel like for the money, the quality just isn't there. I have the Denueve satchel from about 5 or so years ago, two Greenwich saffiano pieces- which seem to be the only saffiano from any brand that doesn't get permanent bends! And I have a pebbled satchel in navy, which has all that great organization like you mentioned.

And I find the same true for Tory Burch in terms of quality. I got a bag over the holidays- which was my first experience with the brand, and was shocked at how much the MSRP was, and the quality was sub par to the Coach 1941 line. It was returned to the store. If I'm going to spend $600-800 or even more on a bag, I want it to actually feel well made and with quality materials.

Yes love I was referring to the boutique, definitely not the outlet. I’ve been to an outlet once and didn’t find anything even semi cute. For me with Coach 1941 and just the new Coach in general, the styles I gravitate towards that are non 1941 are at least 600 then the 1941- 850/800/995/ + tax .
And yes love I was worried about you getting a newbie. It’s best to go when the manager is there and ask to speak to him/her about ordering the Rogue Satchel! Good luck darling!

Hi love! If you go to the page before this one you can see my Rogue collection! love that slate blue! Really wanted it but from experience all light blues tend to fade :’( I live in Miami so that could be why. How is the chalk? I didn’t even consider that color because all I thought about was “this is going to get so dirty”! Is it more of a creamy color IRL? I’ve never seen the chalk in person :(

Attached is my super overrated Balenciaga Part Time in “Maldives” that I sold back in 2012 because the baby blue was fading :(
I usually give my bags away to family and close friends because selling is such a hassle but hell no not a Bal or an LV lol no Premiere bags are going away for free lol. I am thinking of purging all
my coated canvas stuff (Goyard and LV). And getting the Chloe Faye Day and probably another Rogue lol

I live in the Phoenix area, so we get lots of sunshine here too. I haven't had the experience of fading in any of my bags, but I also rotate them as much as possible and store them in their dust bags, so I don't know if that helps to prolong their shelf lives. The chalk is not a stark white, but not cream or ivory, if that makes any sense :amuse: Coach for years has done terrific white bags, and this one is just as great. What I did for this one, I proactively purchased Apple Rain and Stain guard spray and sprayed the heck out of it about 3 times before using it. I wear a lot of denim, so I figured color transfer would happen. Sure enough, it did, but the spray keeps it from sticking, baby wipes gets it right off. And I respray from time to time to keep it protected.

I love Chloe bags, the Faye day bag is beautiful. Eventually I will get something from that brand, but for now, I am content with my 1941's.

I’m definitely going to look into getting the chalk color!!! I used to use Apple spray on my bags but stopped because I really have so many that If I’m wearing denim I will just use another bag that day.
Man I really don’t know what it is about blues but RM’s old good leather the electric blue faded a bit, my mint Cupid I gave away because it turned white. Happy to report NONE of my gorgeous Coach blues have faded at all. In 2017 I got the mineral floral swagger, dark denim Rogue 36, cloud market tote and just love them!! I would love to add an original Rogue in Mineral, the original version came with a lock on the side that I think was adorable but they took it out because people said the bag was too heavy :( I don’t find the Rogue heavy at ALL. The Rogue Satchel is weighty but not the Rogue. Wish they’d bring back the locks.

The oldest blue bag I have currently from Coach is one of the Legacy duffles from 2012 in a tourmaline. And I also have the Bleecker Daily Bag from 2013/4 in Sea Mist, which is a pale aqua color. Neither have had any fading. I do know some of the much older lighter blues, early 2000's, had some fading issues. I can't remember the color names any longer, but they looked similar to your Bal. I wonder if it was either a bad dye batch or just specific blues tend to do get that yellowing/fading look.

I'm happy to hear your Sea Mist hasn't changed. I just got a Coach Sea Green (very pale mint) and Chalk and realized I have no idea how to care for light colored bags!

This thread has been fascinating because Coach is the most I've ever spent on a bag, and I still only get them on sale or from the Outlet. I used to just choose one affordable black leather bag that I liked at a time. I never really cared about name brands, but now that I'm using more colorful bags and making them a part of my outfit, it is so much fun! If I could pick up any old bag and know it would last, or the handles wouldn't fall off, I wouldn't feel the need to stick with an established brand. I had always admired the tiny Coach logo on leather bags when I was young and thought I'd get one someday, but what really got me started was getting one as a gift. I didn't like it...so I went to see what else they had, and the rest is history! Now I'm on a Coach kick because I want the bags to last a while, be leather, and I like them, and that's really the most I'm willing to pay for a bag at this time and be able to afford to have a variety. Coach bags are my not-so-little luxury.
