If you have your receipt go ahead and return the items. I'm pretty sure Coach is not monitoring every single return.
I agree. If you have your receipt and the item is UNUSED with tags attached, by all means, return it!
I have a Shell tote that I bought Thursday that I am going to return. And I returned a few things last month from the online sale. I figure that if I get a ban letter, Coach does not want my business. And if I do, well then, it must be a sign. I am not going to keep something because I am "scared" of being banned. There are times I order online and do not like it when it comes or like with the Shell tote, the store was packed, it was the only one they had left at the time and I had "vultures" following every step I took to see if I put it back so I decided to just bring it home and decide there! It still has the tags one, has not had anything put inside and I have my receipt!
My problem is, I usually return what I have and STILL end up owing them money because I find something else PLUS more!

Return, I do! I just make sure I have everything in order before entering fp. That is why my last experience stunned me so much because I DID have the grommet receipt. Didn't know I needed a paper trail!!!
If I don't like a bag, I'm NOT going to keep it just because I'm not always welcomed. It's probably just me, but when entering fp I feel like they always give each other looks like I'm a criminal. If i return, they DO shoot looks like 'is it ok?' But that is not going to stop me from returning, if needed.

Yeah it's amazing to watch their smiles turn to frowns galore when they first greet someone vs when someone says they need to return. Even my DH has noticed and he is usually quite clueless about these things. Last time I was there, I watched a lady walk in with 2 bags, obviously for a return. They didn't even greet her! They totally ignored her until she was in their faces at the register!

I'm always greeted, never been ignored. Just smile at the first person that looks at you and ask 'Can you help me with a return?' What are they going to do - say no!
You are the paying customer, and as long as you are not returning something that you have used and are now tired of, there is no reason to feel intimidated.
I return at least every other week w tags attached n receipt and never had any issues. I think they would check into when bags and receipts dont match up , no where on there receipts does it say they only allow so many returns. I think they have a good return policy
I just read a recently posted thread regarding returning items bought at FP after you see it in the factory outlet for a better price. Someone mentioned that this behavior could lead to getting banned from Coach.
Now, that kind of behavior does not apply to me as I have never even been to a factory store and buy all my bags FP usually on PCE. One of my bags came off of the bay....the only exception. However, what is this about being banned from Coach? I've read about it on here before, but don't fully understand it.
Has anyone on here ever been banned like that? If not, do you know of it happening to someone elsr? If so....why? What happened? Is it a lifelong thing? I really want to know, have never really heard of something like that before.
