I mean honestly, one of Diana's sons had to have her rebel spirit. Harry is definitely Diana 's son!

I was just thinking the same thing yesterday. I mean, they tried to whip Diana into shape and the rebel came through. What is so hard to fathom about that? Again, I don't follow the RF and IDGAF about the Monarchy; however, I still think that the amount of hatred and bile spewed at both of them is frightening..... by people who don't know them.I mean honestly, one of Diana's sons had to have her rebel spirit. telegraph.co.ukThe Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to have been uninvited to a state reception hosted by the King and Queen at Buckingham Palace on Sunday evening.
The couple received an invitation to the grand event for world leaders and foreign royals earlier this week but are thought unlikely to attend after palace officials insisted it was for working members of the Royal family only.
It remained unclear on Friday night why they had received an invitation for an occasion that Royal aides insisted they were not expected to attend.
I'm glad King Charles wanted Harry to wear his military uniform for this vigil.Prince Harry along with the other grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II stand vigil beside her coffin

I think the British people are loyal to their Monarchy and when someone says something about their institution, they will vilify those people. I am sure there is some truth to what Megan and Harry claims but I believe the Family would of preferred that the issues were settled privately. I think Harry an Megan needed some funds because he was cut off so they did a tell all. Is there prejudice involved, I say yes because it exists in most societies. That being said the Feud is a he said/she said situation and the truth is some where in the middle.I am glad that there is this thread. The venom in the other thread makes me very uncomfortable and sad for humanity sorta. Is that too dramatic?I don't follow the royal family nor would I wait 20 mins in line/que to see the Queen. Nevermind 20 hours. But isn't the story simple when you get down to it? Harry was born into a life he didn't choose. He was probably traumatized at how the media tore his Mother apart and her death. He saw the same thing happening to the woman he loved. They tried for a few years but just couldn't handle it. It seems very simple and I don't understand such hate. What am I missing?
I agree with your last sentence, yes absolutely. However h & m were vilified for speaking out with their side of the story. The palace wanted them to keep quiet but the palace/William etc continue to speak through “palace sources” and media placed stories to get their side of the story out. They (the palace) would prefer to only have people hear its own version and when h & m speak, it’s considered “improper”. Certainly not a fair situation.I think the British people are loyal to their Monarchy and when someone says something about their institution, they will vilify those people.
