I'm so relieved that this thread exists. I'm a lifetime Royal watcher and I'm no stranger to corners of the internet that snark on celebrities but the Meghan hate on the internet is truly disturbing and based on nothing. There are so many people who are truly destroying people's lives (countries, the climate, etc.) that it seems a terrific waste of energy and illogical in the extreme to demonize Meghan for... holding her husband's hand.
Harry, Meghan, William and Catherine are real live human beings, all with flaws and wonderful parts, and life is a lot better if you try to hope the best for people who don't seem to be wreaking evil in the world. I hope the Queen's passing brings peace and forgiveness to all the Windsors.

I am NOT a royal watcher, fan, or remotely interested in these people. HOWEVER, what I find completely fascinating/disturbing is the vitriol coming at these 2. I don’t know enough about the situation to render an opinion (other than I think Oprah knew exactly what was gonna happen in that interview and the fallout that would ensue) but WOW she‘s not well liked.

Not trying to be irreverent here, but when I got home I put on a pair of 4 inch heels to see if I could curtsy that deeply without wobbling.
It’s quite a feat. I wonder how much practice goes into that.

I get that Meghan is not perfect and may have made some past mistakes when joining the royal family but I don't understand the vitriol she inspires. I mean the time spent dissecting/speculating and trashing her every move is exhausting and I don't even follow her. I only occasionally see the heated comments made about her and it's puzzling.

girl I couldn’t take two steps in those 4” heels let alone curtsy that deeply without falling on my face! Harry would have been peeling me up off the floor. :lol: I was impressed.

Yes I remember this about Diana also! Definitely not surprising Harry is like that as well.

The amount of wasted time that goes into hating Megan is absolutely exhausting. I just don’t get it.
