I saw this MJ bag at Nordstrom today.
This bag has been on my radar since I saw it on Forzieri, but this was the first time I saw the pebbled leather version (and any version) IRL.
I must say, it’s stunning IRL and the photos don’t do it justice. I don’t like the rubber handle and would prefer leather but it makes the bag a bit more unique I guess! Comes in 23 size (23cm) and a smaller 20 size.
I’ve bought too many bags in the past few months and trying to be good, but to tempt you all...

Well in that case karman, here's a picture of my MCM rockstar vanity case from last year. Smama inspired me to purchase this.
This is completely amazing! I am going on a cross-country trip in a few days and was regretting that I currently do not have a bag that can withstand that roughness of airports while still being cute enough to use on my vacation. I used to have a couple of LV empreinte bags that were my go-to for travel because they wore like iron, but they were recalled this year for a glazing defect. I bought a little Chanel tote (Neo Executive) just for this purpose, but it is too delicate after all. Then time had run out, since we leave in just a few days.
Yesterday, I had a crazy idea to look on Amazon to see if there are any well-made bags with one day shipping. Amazingly, my first search was for an MCM bag, because I had always thought they were cute and I knew the price point was friendly with the potential for airport-damage. To my surprise, they had MCM bags on prime, and this little bag was what came up! I put it in my cart but then chickened out. I’ve never owned MCM, and while I know it has a long history, I just didn’t have any experience with the quality. I just saw your posts and I ordered one just now. It is 1:30 am on Saturday now and it will arrive on Monday, that certainly can’t be topped

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I like the colorful bags, but the name is too big imo.
I looked at the dimensions, I think the difference is minor. I saw the 23 in person and it would definitely fit my essentials. What do you consider your essentials?
Although since the price diff is so minor...I’d say if you can, go for the 23! Always better to have more space than not enough, right?
