Agree, the Apple is a lighter conditioner. I do prefer the Bick for my bags that need extra moisturizing.. You can see the difference using less. Thank you for the Aussie rec, does sound like an unbeatable combo! My main worry conditioning was changing the color darker but that hasn't happened for me with any bags.

Yes...I am loving mine...tossed my perira medium organizer in it and kept moving...changed up from my medium chestnut flo....sprayed with apple water repellent and will see how it goes....I love the look of a conditioned bag....natural seems kinda dry to me...bag is very light and the strap is nice and thick....maybe I should have bought all 3 colors LOL

I am indeed a junkie. I am shocked my husband tolerates it LOL....I think I will only shop Dooney items in December annually...if I can be good..... Best deals of the year! I LOVE florentine in all things. Fav is the medium satchel. Had a chance to try a small satchel....like that too....luckily small Bordeaux showed up again on dooney.com....straight into my cart it went for me LOL

I think this December is unusual in terms of pricing. Normally, we don't see
great sales in December. Close to the holidays sales aren't the best usually.
Sometimes there are good deals after Christmas.
Of course, it's hard to know when the price is best.... but if the discount is
atleast 50% off, then I consider the purchase for a bag I want. If it's for
multiples of the same color..... depends on how badly I want them..... usually
I wait for them to be even lower priced. Sometimes my timing is good, and sometimes
I let a price go and I never see it that low again. Of course, since I don't need another
handbag in this lifetime (or next), I try not to get too crazy over missed opportunities.
I've learned, there will always be another handbag I want.
Now I'm checking ILD to see what Florentine bags are left.... and trying not to buy any
because there is nothing I need or really want that doesn't duplicate what I have or closely
approximate the same style in the same color. It's an obsession.... can't let a bargain slip by.

Purple Flower&LavenderJ, I can't believe it! I was just reading your recent saddle bag posts and how LavenderJ got the Chestnut (yay! Glad you decided to, such a great classic bag with function). Well.....something nudged me to check both sites again! . And there it was--I snagged the Black saddle bag on the regular Dooney site!I was up before the chickens today and you guys brought me good Florentine luck! It's gone already. I also had a $20 off coupon code I found online...it wasn't quite as good as ild sale but I got it ($189) so I am not complaining as I know its sold out and I waited to long.
I do have multiple colors of the some bags that I truly love like the small and mini satchel and Barlows. As this Saddle bag seems to be similar to my Black mailbag that I adore, I think I'm happy with just the black for now. Unless Tmoro Brown makes an appearance

Omg! It was on the site again? Wow. Of course I checked and see nothing, but they do seem to be replenishing some things. Congratulations!!!! Enjoy your purchase...took mine out on a weekend trip to see Christmas lights...fully loaded with everything but my iPad mini...held up nicely. Not too heavy at all and those pockets in front and back were wonderful for my phone and hand sanitizer. Major luxury as my Cameron's and satchels don't have outside pockets.

Yes....red double pocket satchel.....makes me so sad...I want one. My unicorn purse lol. Have several coming today...small satchels...will be spraying with water repellent and conditioning with aussie today lol. Hoping prices drop more on dooney.com....so I can maybe maybe get a domed buckle satchel....
Lunalark: I'm happy I was able to get the saddle bag. I loaded it up and it sat on my dresser and I enjoyed looking at it. These days, my handbags stay safely inside.... no rain or stain or weight issues. Someday,
when things 'return to normal' my handbags will again enjoy the outside world.
The fact that the long shoulder/cross body strap could be shortened to a hand carry length
meant that I could buy and enjoy using the saddle bag. I don't know if the original saddle bag
had the 3 part long shoulder/cross body strap or if that's an improvement made in the
current version. I think the inside pockets also changed in the current version.
The Dooney and ILD sites didn't detail the strap info.... but one of the YouTube videos
from a recent purchaser had those details. So, now I have one Florentine saddle bag and
I'd like more. It's a beautifully made handbag, with nice styling and functional details.
I wish Dooney would bring back more of the original Florentine styles. There were some
beauties. Did we appreciate the detailing and the whip stitching in those handbags?

Thank you! Now I can join you both in Saddle bag heaven lol For a brief moment it was! Maybe a return or Dooney had a few in inventory. I got my Denim Barlow (2 years ago) that way, by checking at random times during the 12 days. Oh nice! That sounds like a wonderful weekend! Now more than ever, pockets are definitely needed! It's a check list leaving the house. I rarely do, that's a great safe idea to drive around to see the lights...
Glad you are enjoying the saddle bag! Which color do you like best? Yeah, the satchels I love and so wish they had an outside back pocket, but then again, maybe it would take away the from the design. My first Dooney was the Natural Florentine Domed Buckle Satchel. So great to carry, so easy to get into and with a back pocket too. It is gorgeous. The whipstitched handles are stunning, very classy equestrian with the buckles. That's the bag I get complimented on always. I hope it drops more in price on the last day so you can try one! Enjoy your new small satchels! I just reordered Apple repellant and got the Aussie to try.
