Reviving this thread because i might be popping by St Barths on thanksgiving weekend. Anyone been there recently? How are the stocks there?

Am on the same page as HermesAmasser, we have rented a villa in February and am curious if there is a friendly SA there. The previous posts sound like all the SAs are super but times change and any recent experiences will be helpful. I will definitely call in advance to make an appointment before stopping by the store. So any input is appreciated.

Will be in St Barths in December before the holidays, hoping to purchase a belt kit. Anyone know what the selection is like for 24mm and 32mm?

I'll be happy to report back with intel [emoji2]

EShop, am looking forward to reading your intel and good luck with a belt kit!

Just came back from Saint Barths.

They have a fairly decent selection of belts when i was there. Its displayed on the second level and if you dont see colors that you like, just ask. Basically the same for bags. If you dont see what you might like on the shelves just ask:) they have a barenia halzan 31 in the back if anyone is interested.

Warning: they seem to be sharing the purchase history system with paris. My SA could see that i bought a clic H in Paris earlier this year. And the credit card charge slip shows Hermes Paris 75008 too. Take note of this in case youre flying here just for a bag to avoid disappointment.

Thanks so much, HermesAmasser for this information, especially about H belts. I am looking for a few belts and this might be the perfect place to pick one up. Although my wonderful local SA will assist me, I have been too busy to stop by to see her. :hugs:

Thank you for the info HermesAmasser! Looking forward to visiting the store soon [emoji2]

I am in St Barth this week. I went to the H store a few days ago and I got my belt! This is what I saw:

A decent selection of enamel bracelets and H clic clac bracelets. A lot of rose gold clic clacs in neutral colors on display.

A woman purchasing a Constance Clutch/Wallet in Croc (apologies I'm not as well versed in Hermes as many of you here. I am still learning [emoji6]) they had another on display and a couple jiges.

A larger size lindy in a red-orange color (not sure the exact size) and some ladies being shown the largest size Evelyn in red-orange color, gray and light blue.

I ended up purchasing a 24mm belt kit with rose gold H buckle and black/gold strap. Lots of rose gold buckles in the smaller sizes 13mm and 24 mm. Gold in 32 mm. Various sizes for belt straps and different colors.

Hope that helps someone [emoji2]

I know this is an old thread but may I ask you a question?
I'll be in St Barth's next month and plan on shopping of course. This will be my first trip out of the country buying LV & Hermes.
I read on the US Customs page that items made in France, Spain, Italy...can be taxed up to 100%. Has that happened to you? What were you taxed when coming through US customs with your Hermes purchases?
(I'm assuming you live in the US. Pardon me if I'm wrong.) I'm a bit nervous to buy anything there with the possibility of being taxed so exorbitantly. It's made me rethink the whole shopping part of my trip. Any advice regarding your experience is greatly appreciated. [emoji4]
