She said she would check and came back saying they had a Kelly cut in croc but that was out of our price range. So she said they had B25 in two colors I could choose from. I was carrying a Chanel bag I use for traveling so I don't think carrying an H bag is necessary. I think striking up a good conversation and hopefully connecting with the SA helps more?? Good luck and hopefully you get the B/k of your dreams!

Omg omg omg[emoji317]congrats!!! It was so encouraging to hear success story! I hope I can score something this time!! Would really like a b25 or Constance [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16] May I ask if you bought other things first before asking for the bags? I checked on their website it seems like they have a lot of limited edition for Japan only.. I'm super excited now!! Can't wait!

Thank you! I tell my husband he is my lucky H charm. He doesn't like going into H stores but whenever he does he somehow always gets offered bags. I tell him it is very difficult to get these bags but he thinks I'm lying. He says it's not luck...when I walk into a store the SAs know I look like a sucker......a sucker who will spend over $10k on a bag!! [emoji38]

My husband did end up buying the sneakers but that's it. I did tell her I was looking for a clutch such as a Kelly cut or Constance to wear in the evening since I only brought my old Chanel for traveling. She took a really long time and finally came back asking if a Birkin 25 would be okay? She was trying to look for smaller bags for me I suppose. She was one of the sweetest and most helpful SAs I have met. I will be going to the Ginza store tomorrow but my husband refuses to go bc he doesn't want to be offered anymore bags and have to spend money! Lol! He thinks it's so easy. Little does he know how difficult it really is.

Did you talk to the SA in Japanese or English? Is it hard to start a conversation if I don't know Japanese?

Hi babymama7 & iceshimmer27, if you buy from the boutiques, tax refund is full 8%. You get the tax refund amount taken off the price that you will pay at point of purchase. There's no need to submit claims at the airport. If you buy from the boutiques that are within the Malls eg. Takashimaya, Isetan etc.. you don't get the full 8% tax refund. They keep 1% as administrative fees. It varies from shopping mall to shopping mall.
