Anyone who has been lucky with k/b visits in tokyonor osaka recently?
Been to Osaka recently, the inventory in shops r quite good, but no k/b when being asked...
May I ask what specs were the birkins?I got 2 B's from Tokyo 2 weeks ago, one from Takashimaya and one from the Ginza shop. But honestly based on my experience some SA's in Japan aren't as nice as they seem. I was once declined by an SA in Ginza saying they've no stocks in B/K but in less than 2 mins I saw her offering a B to a Japanese... based on the customer's facial expression and my very limited Japanese proficiency, the customer didn't pre-order it nor it's a SO... so obviously they selectively offer a B/K based on some unknown justification...

May I ask what time did you go? do you have to make any prepurchase before asking? I have tried Tokyo twice (separate trips) but to no avail. TIA
It's pretty good for them to at least recognized you when you're dressed up and not mistaken you as a different personBtw I want to add that whenever I travel I tend to wear the most comfy clothing and carry my old longchamp tote so honestly I won't look elegant or fashionable in the shop. However this time since I've a very nice dinner to go so I decided to wear my VCA pink sapphire pendant and bracelet with me. The sh*t face SA who hinted me to buy some scarves and clothings was definitely staring at my pendant for almost a minute before she said she has a B. Not sure if some fine jewelry pieces might potentially help...
Hi everyone,
I'm going to Tokyo for few days at Christmas and will be staying at Ginza. I am wondering what are my chances of scoring a b or k there? Also do I need to line up before opening? How early should I go? Would bringing my b there help with the scoring? Thanks so much for all the help in advance [emoji16]
Shop opens at 11am. If you want to be first in line, I would go an hour before. Went one time at 10:30, was second in line. Thankfully, lady in front of me refused the K35 and I happened to like it so I got it.

I am in Tokyo right now and scored a B25 in red-vermillion. We arrived Sunday evening and on Monday we went to the Takashima Shinjuku Hermes store around 11:00ish and got a bag. I'm not sure about the Ginza store but thought I'd share my experience in case you might want to try your luck at other H stores in Tokyo. My husband tried on a pair of sneakers he liked and I actually asked the SA if they had a Kelly cut or Constance. She said she would check and came back saying they had a Kelly cut in croc but that was out of our price range. So she said they had B25 in two colors I could choose from. I was carrying a Chanel bag I use for traveling so I don't think carrying an H bag is necessary. I think striking up a good conversation and hopefully connecting with the SA helps more?? Good luck and hopefully you get the B/k of your dreams!
