I've heard that Ginza has the most stock by both my Japanese friends and friends who has visit Japan and score bags before! And actually you don't really need to dress that nicely, this year my friend went in Ginza store in her pjs and came out with a b! But she did looked very determined to get a b(with her card case in her hand) so I think it is a matter of luck whether you meet a nice SA. The SA did looked suspicious at first because of my friend's pj but we asked nicely and told her we really are buying the bags if they have some in stock. My experiences with Ginza store and Shinjuku Isetan are very good so far, not very good with Takashimaya in Shinjuku though. My friend was only deciding whether to get the bracelet and the SA just look so impatient!
I agree that some SA aren't very friendly...they do tend to keep bags for their Japanese customers and they do give you the face when you ask if you ask if there's any b/k/c and tell you they have none but actually they do! I knew because it happened more than once that I saw them offering b to Japanese customers.
Went in Isetan shinjuku last weekend to see if they have clutches and they did have some medor in exotic leather but I am not a fan of exotics. Every time I visit Isetan store, there are always bags, not always b/k but I can always see lindy and herbag. I think kelly pochettes are harder to come by in this store because they are always kept for the Japanese customers, I've asked and seen them being offered to Japanese customers twice. Kelly pochette is very popular among males in Japan in my opinion, seen them being carried a lot of times but always by guys!
Also! If you really want to bring home one and don't care about the price, there is a reseller in Tokyo called lecrin and they do always have b and k in stock at a much higher price.
Thanks so much for a insightful post [emoji16] glad to hear they don't judge the outfit and items you wear on traveling [emoji4]
