Hey all! The Soho Flap in nude, BLACK!, and red arrived at Gucci outlet Rosemont today! Pics and prices here:

I’ve always loved those Soho flaps. You lucky US citizens get all the best goodies for great prices. I haven’t seen these bags on European market (at least on websites) for a long, long time.

Do you (or anyone else on this thread) have opinions on the red flap bag vs. the red disco bag, in terms of which style is more classic or more attractive in person? I've been wanting a red soho disco for a long time, but have found it difficult to pull the trigger. This price is of course a bit friendlier, and it seems that the flap is a bit less common : )

I am not a lover of the Disco bag. For the price, I just think it seems a bit...basic. That said, the two major pluses of the Disco would be that looks good crossbody (if you can do that with approx. 21-22" strap drop) and has a leather strap (which is more comfortable for crossbody and life in general). I do think the Disco is more casual than the Soho Flap. I like the Flap's styling more...I am drawn to the rounded flap, the size, and the chain strap, in terms of looks. It's a similar size to the Chanel M/L flap, and I think the Soho Flap can be dressed up or down. Also, where I live, every high schooler is running around with a Disco......so much so, that my hubs calls that bag "the Gucci starter kit for spoiled teenagers". :biggrin: The Flap comes and goes at Gucci outlet; the black is rarely seen. I see the red more often than black. They do sell out quickly. Happy shopping, and show us what you decide!

I was just about to post this! Cabazon has them. I asked my SA for a pic of the tag because I was curious about the season being 2018. I’ll let people know when he confirms. I bought one immediately as they can sell our in hours ladies. (It literally happened to me, my SA took my credit card info and everything and by the time he went to process the last one was gone)

Stylistbydesign did a great job explaining the differences between this and the soho. For me they are two very different bags. The soho probably holds a big more due to the depth, but I own both now.

I'm curious to know as well about the tag as well. My Lady Webs don't have the made for outlet stamp, because the design wasn't for outlet originally, but I know they still produce/sell them for outlet only. It's my understanding that some older best selling designs are sold at outlet, because they're from the previous creative director's time at the helm.

Don’t let that stop you isf you truly love the Disco.....plenty of grown women carry them also around here. :smile: I just think the flap is more sophisticated, and better value for the money. I also just realized the Soho Flap is about the same strap drop, so if you can crossbody the Disco, you can do the Flap, too....something to consider. Get the one that speaks to you! :heart: Happy shopping!

Does anyone know where I can find modeling pics of how the Gucci Flap chain strap bag looks on people?
I tried Google but a different bag comes up.
I would like to see this one on people.
