Hi :smile: long time lurker here but I also ordered from sacks this bag. I called and they said that they are awaiting shipment and they are not cancelling any orders. I also checked the Gucci website and the Disco soho is on back order as well, specifically the rose beige aka camellia. Gucci website says to expect shipping around 1/17 to 2/17 (feb)

Yeiii!! I was almost hitting my head on the wall Lol [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] I really want this bag, it would be my first disco since I ussually don't wear small bags.

My thoughts: we ordered the bag. If they say eventually it is out of stock, and it ever, say, in the next year, becomes available, they should honor the price. If that happens, I will call and state my case. What explanation could they give to not honor it? Time will tell.
Then I ask myself, do I really need this Disco, as I have two others?
I hear that! When I got that text a few weeks ago, I should've bought it and ask to get it for the price that I had on back order.

I'm getting to the point where I am thinking the same thing as you, "do I really need/want this bag?" I waited so long I'm starting to lose interest. (I also have 2 others. I have the black Studded disco and chocolate Bree Guccissima bags.)

Hopefully this is true!! I just checked the Gucci website and it said the Rose beige is expected to ship out by 1/15-2/05.

Thanks for the update on expected dates.
I still haven't received an email from Saks about the delay and it still lists 1/11.

I know we got it for a great price, but I'm at the point that I don't care if it comes in or not. :shocked:

Totally agree, I wished I should had purchased it back in December and then ask them to honor the price!!

So last night I decided to contact Saks costumer service and the rep said the following: the pre order works in a first come first serve. Which sounds completely ridiculous to me tbh. She also mentioned that Saks negotiates the amount bags with the vendor, so Saks doesn't know if the orders will be fulfilled. I thought about it, and if this is the case, then Saks has questionable business practices with their costumers, why am I getting on a waitlist, if they don't make it 100% clear to the costumer what the real deal is, and on top of that, they put a "expected ship day" that's very unethical. I hope they can work it out, it is only a handbag but I don't like to be mislead.

Totally agree, I wished I should had purchased it back in December and then ask them to honor the price!!

I am also waiting for the Saks Gucci disco. I just called customer service and she said sometimes the shipment is delayed a week. She said that happens sometimes. She was unable to find any expected arrival or shipment date and did a search in store and on the web - nothing. Still hoping it will arrive soon.

The waitlist policy is weird because of the " expect shipment date" which makes me to believe that they are going to fulfill the order (hence the tittle pre-order)
The San Marcos outlet in Texas has these bags available for $479. :smile:
(Lomited quantities).

I know of zero retailers that would ever honor a price sometime in the next year, but maybe you would get lucky?

Actually it doesn't sound ridiculous to me as I work for a competitor and Gucci does have very different rules with each of its authorized resellers. They put some pretty strict rules on each one and if they aren't adhered in any way, they pull their merchandise completely from that store. It is not Saks fault at all. Gucci says what each company and even each of the locations within that company can or cannot carry. They also give some silly return rules at times where you can only return their product to the actual location that is authorized to sell it and not one of the other locations within the SAME company. If you have complaints, you should really be contacting Gucci!
 
Did somebody try see the Exclusive Preview on Gucci.com today? Morning it was still active , i wanted see now and it is deactivated. I don't see anymore. The items are again for full Price.
I stay on the wait list on Gucci.com 3 monthes now, the Union Jack shoes are so delicious but if i don't get them till 1 February i will cancel the order.
Hope to get them finally.
