They always seem to do this before the Dec sale so they can reduce the sale bags without reducing them too much KWIM? :coolio:

I suppose they will do the same in Europe next :thinkin:

I'm late on this discussion, but just noticed the price of my Marrakech was approximately $200 more! :faint: Also, the SA's had told me they didn't think they would be producing anymore since it was a "seasonal bag" - Interesting! I don't know. With inflation and escalating pricing across the board, I'm going to have to drop out of the spending arena. My salary is staying the same but a half gallon of milk costs me $5, etc. etc.

Does anybody know if gucci had a recent price increase?

I was looking at the sukey bag, and I noticed on the website the medium one is $950 now when I could have sworn about a month or 2 ago it was around $850?

Yes. I was looking at a bag that was exclusively on Gucci.com and it went up $80. It was way over my budget anyway but now I just don't see getting it anytime soon :( There's just something about crossing that $2k mark that makes me think twice.

Dang, I'm going to ATL this weekend and I wanted to look at purchasing a bag...my timing stinks!! The soho disco is still $895 on the website...I wonder if it also went up?

Thanks! Yeah, I knew I missed the boat on the $850 price, but I can stomach an extra $45 just so they don't go up again. Hopefully, I'll have one to do a reveal after this weekend!

You have to get it before they do another price increase. Can't wait to see a reveal if you do buy it!

I purchased my BTH in 2010 for $1800? something like that and told my sister she needs to get it at the same time before a possible price increase. She ended up getting it last year at $2100 - she was afraid it will go up again and now it's $2250. I hate these dreaded price increases!

Yup they do. My sister has been debating back and forth whether she should get the Fango Stirrup top handle bag and now with this recent price increase, she decided to order it! lol The bag started at $3k something 1 1/2 years ago which was when I told her to get it then and she kept sitting on it. Now she has no choice but to buy it for over $4k. :amuse:

My guess is the sale prices for the bags going to be on sale will be close to the price prior to the price increase! Evil...:thinkin:

The funny thing is prices already increased in May.
