I’m 1.58cm (a little over 5’2) the alma is also to long for me. But I do have the marmont matelasse mini flap (not the super mini).

Could someone who has owned or felt both the beige and black colors chime in? I used to own the beige and absolutely loved it… The leather was so buttery soft and wonderful. I sold it in fear of color transfer. I recently purchased the black one in like-new condition from a secondhand seller who looks to be quite reputable but right away I noticed that the black bag is much less buttery than the beige bag. It seems that the black bag almost has a kind of shine to it whereas the beige bag is more of a smooth buttery matte. Has anyone else experienced this?

I’m petite as well, just barely over 5 feet tall. I always have a problem with straps being longer than I’d like, but I was surprised I don’t have a problem with where this bag hits me, not even when I long shoulder carry. This is a great bag for petite ladies.

Should I be concerned? Do you not get these items if you buy through a department store?

I didn’t get a Gucci box, but I bought from Saks and it came with the leather swatch.

How did you add holes? Mine is coming in the mail tomorrow and I’m worried the strap will be too short as I’m a little thicker than stick figures!

I would love to see photos and get your opinion on it. Also, what color did you get? I just got my Soho this week and have been debating a Samorga for it.
