Just the tag was the issue. I'd prefer the bag to be stiffer but didn't return for that reason. No, I didn't need to pay return shipping. Matches have a return policy. Check it out. Free returns within a certain amount of time. I'll keep y'all posted!

Yeah lol they acknowledged the fault with the replacement bag they were going to send me. I wondered if that was a return from someone?? They sent me this photo. I can't tell weather that's glue or an actual graze on the leather.
I think the newer bags have light gold hardware. If you purchased from Matches, no worries about authenticity. Enjoy your bag!

I went into the Sydney City store last week and was about to purchase the beige colour bag, however I was a bit iffy with the tassel. On both the black and beige bags the tassel was leather one side and suede the other. All the fakes i have seen have this look and all the authentic bags have leather on both sides of the strands from the tassel. Can anyone shed some light on this issue and if this is the new normal?

P.S. Lonson time is best - I got my problem resolved when I spoke with UK staff. The international staff are limited as they have to email all the requests.
I was thinking of placing an order for another bag with Matches, but now I'm a little concerned! Good to know your experience though.
I got my Gucci Disco bag on the RealReal and love it. Initially when I ordered, I ordered one that was slightly darker (an older color of the bag), and it came with a lot of wear (it had been listed as in "good" condition"). I wasn't thrilled, and about a week later I saw the beige become available, so I called the RealReal real and even though they don't offer exhanges they made the exception for me as a first time customer. Interestingly, it wasn't that big of a discount from the then list price ($90 off) but I love it and second time was a charm! I did a full review of the bag on my blog, if it helps any of you considering the bag (link in my signature below).

Got my bag today from Matches and it is in perfect condition. Nothing at all wrong with it. It was wrapped really nicely too. I was so nervous to get my black soho from Matches after hearing some of the problems. I truly hope they resolve all of the issues.
