I received my order from NM and so far everything looks good. The bag was carefully wrapped and appears to be in pristine condition. The product name on label is a little different - NM receipt referred to it as Soho Small Leather Bag - but the code included in the shipment is the same as the style code listed on the Gucci website for the Gucci Soho Disco bag. Also, I put a clear elastic band on the strap to keep it from flapping; I think that works and is subtle.
Loving all of the discos you all were able to snag! What a great deal. I'm sad I missed out, I have been wishing for a red one on sale! I've been too busy with school and work so unfortunately I missed out this time.
I also have that solution for the strap. But am using a transparent hair tie since my Disco is red
It was actually my LV SA that recommended the transparent hair tie since I used a black one first (and she didn't like that obviously hahaha).
How kind - I might be interested. I've never done this before. How would we handle?
Mine is about to turn two, and it definitely gets easier (or at least feels easier).
Hi, I am looking to purchase a Gucci soho disco. I live in the UK and was planning on having a work colleague who goes down to London every month to pick up for me at T5 on his way back as it will be tax free right? Can I call and pay for in advance for him to uplift on way back to Scotland?
Also, one of my other colleagues is headed to USA and has offered to pick up there but im not so sure it would get more of a discount than purchasing from T5 would it?

Hopefully someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost positive you need to be a non-EU resident in order to get the tax-free price. Purchasing in the UK (with tax) will still be cheaper than purchasing from the US, though.
You can definitely get the tax-free price if you're a UK resident, you just have to be flying to a destination outside of the EU and show your boarding pass when you buy. I regularly fly from Heathrow T5 and always get the tax-free price, which works out at around 17% off. So the price of the disco should be just under £600 without VAT. I'm actually purchasing a Soho Disco from T5 this weekend myself
I also think this will be a lot cheaper than purchasing in the US as the prices for European designers over there always seem to be a lot higher and then you have to factor in tax on top of the listed price, which varies depending on the state. As far as I'm aware, we also can't get a tax refund on purchases in the US, although someone correct me if I'm wrong as that would be amazing!

Thanks for clarifying! I made some purchases at the Gucci and Prada stores at Charles de Gaulle airport recently. The tags on the Gucci items had two prices which I thought said EU and non-EU (less tax) but I guess I read wrong. [emoji51] Regardless, thanks for correcting!
So excited to finally join the Gucci Soho Disco club!! My heart was set on the Rose Beige for so long; its such a beautiful colour and looks so good in pics but after trying it on so many times instore I realised it looks much better on others than on me lol. Luckily I tried on this black beauty and fell in love!! Shes so beautiful and goes with all my outfits. They ran out of normal boxes so put it in a shoe box because I wanted a box lol. Here she is

If you're in the states, do you know a good place to pick up clear hair ties?
It finally came in! Here's my 'Camelia' Gucci disco. Wow the disco is very pretty!! I'm definitely worried about color transfer but hoping the Apple guard will help take care of that. For anyone who owns this colored disco, do you find yourself wearing light colored clothing all the time due to color transfer?
Also, the top part of the bag has a slouch..? Is that normal? This bag was ordered from Nordstrom. I attached two photos - without and with flash!
