New Discos have no tassel? I would expect the emerald green to come with tassel. I guess we will have to wait and see. Anyway, I am glad to see new additions to this line.
I was in Gucci today and was told the Disco is not being discontinued [emoji848] and was told the red is a seasonal colour. They didn't know about the seasonal colours coming out. I'll probably be picking up the red one next month.
I'm making my first luxury purchase in about a month while in Italy, so I'm here to do research! I am mostly gravitating towards the Gucci Soho disco!
All my purses are black so I'm wanting a small but roomy leather bag on a long strap, in a brown/nude/blush pink perhaps. Thoughts?? I'd love any guidance! I'm considering other 'mini bags' from brands including Saint Laurent, Gucci and Prada and maybe Balenciaga.

Disco in rose beige or a small marmont in the nude color.
Perhaps the new white and green non-tassle versions are tricolor? The white one has a strap that's black and I've seen that sort of style before. No longer on the website but this is what it looked like:
Also, I was just at the Gucci flagship in SF yesterday and asked about the Soho Disco and if there were any new colors coming out. Was given the "we are phasing this style out, no new colors will be made" spiel. Sigh. I guess it just goes to show different SA's are being told different things. Gucci really needs to make up their mind about the status of this bag. Or maybe it's a ploy to drive up interest? I don't know but it's just so frustrating.

I highly recommend the Soho Disco in the rose beige color. The bag looks pretty small but it can hold a TON of stuff and it's very carefree and hardy. I took my red one on a recent trip and didn't baby it one bit and it still looks spotless! I even wore it with dark blue denims walking around a museum all day and had no dye transfer issues.
This is exactly what I'm talking about - there's definitely miscommunication here about the bag's status as being permanent or discontinued, hence the reason mixed messages are being translated across to customers. I emailed Gucci last week but have yet to get a response back either.
My SA told me the entire Soho line has officially been discontinued as of last week, with the exception of Disco.
I was at the Gucci boutique in Oslo on Saturday to get an Soho Disco bag authenticated as I was buying it second hand. The SA told us (me and the girl I bought it from) that they are being discontinued, and they will receive their last shipment of Soho Disco's in May..
It's weird how the SA's across the world seems to have different information!
I ended up buying the bag though, as it turned out to be the real deal! Pics will be posted later

Sounds good, what an awesome birthday that will be! And yes, it's definitely better to be safe than sorry. It was the red one I bought also, can't wait to put it into use for the very first time tomorrow
